We don't know that for sure, right? We all did say the character of Anubhav was totally ruined. May be he couldn't connect with it any more and he could feel the popularity of the character reducing. I don't think the PH will risk a change in main lead at this stage when the show was already under scanner. Just my POV.

If he were to comeback for sure they would say Anubhav to be presumed dead in KKIS just like Pandya store! …and bringing in a new man only means the break is a long or permanent one! he will comeback only if the show will close the shop cause no one accepted the new couple. That's it.
