I have never loved any Indian show so much as TR! I've loved some US shows like Charmed, Bones, Avatar and I've rewatched those whole series (8-12 seasons) a few times!

I have a bad habit...I can never just do one thing if I'm sitting down, I always gotta have something playing in the background. Ever since like 6th-7th grade, even when I'm doing homework, I would have all sorts of music or some movie playing in the background. It started as just sound filler cuz I used to be alone at home and it would be too quiet but soon become an unbreakable habit. There are some movies that I've watched about 20 times and I can probably tell you all the dialogues for them! 🤪It's how I learned Hindi to begin with! Must have watched K3G, KKHH, and all those 2000s movies at least 3-4 times each!

Sister and I were crazy for books as kids. We slowly shifted to the Television. Since we always scored more than good enough, there were zero objections. I don't remember just watching TV shows but I remember that the TV used to be on most of the times. Even when we used to study. That's how I have watched most of the old ITV shows that I won't say were any good but I have watched them.. 🤣

The way you have movie dialogues by heart, I have songs by heart. I precisely remember the full lyrics of all of the songs that I love ( which are a lpt more than A LOT in numbers ). 🤪

❤️❤️ Me too! First it was books, then movies, then music, and then the shows added on later! Like you were, I was always the topper and actually overachiever so no one could stop me even if they didn't like it. When I have music playing in the car, I can figure out which song it is out of my multilingual 3000 songs playlist just by the first 10-20 seconds of it and then I start singing all of the lyrics...my whole family is baffled about how I know so many songs in so many languages and some of them are like 2-3 decades old! 🤪

It's the love for music and movies that you would only understand if you have it too! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Glad I found someone who understands it finally!!! 🤗

Yesterday, jenugudu was nice. Kannada version. Krish spikes Diya ka drink at her bachelorette party and Shashank slaps him for that. He takes her to a park to rest and ... baki dekhlo interested ho to.

I like kannada Shashank also. Much nicer than marathi.

I think our Shashank is only one who's very rude and strict. Kabhi kabhi chill hota hai but overall is too strict and khadoos.

Ladki bhi pretty hai.

I just saw the show promo and the soup scene...looks very similar to TR, the montage, the names!!! They even have the same music playing in the background and they have a Telugu party song playing during the soup feeding scene! 😆

I loved that the whole family catches him there though!!! 🤣 That's a nice twist! Kannada version Shashank does look more relaxed but if our version isn't strict, then how would he be Khadus? ❤️ (Better strict than a bigamist anyway!) What's his nickname there?

It's not available on Hulu otherwise I would try it at least for some of those fun scenes!

His nickname is alien.

Yep kannada is very close to marathi. Even names and montage.

But they put some original stuff like kukki gang take Shashank and Diya to a trek and netra joins them there.

Krish spikes her drink at bachelorette.

It's nice. They're cute too.
