But yes, I think Gungun might ask Anubhav to choose his family. Because she is the one who always craved for a happy family and she will never want Anubhav to lose that.

For Anubhav going against family is not a good idea, may be that’s why he is asking for time and support from Gungun. Because for every boy who loves his family want his family to love his wife too.

Going against family will never make Gungun happy, so Anubhav has to use his scientist brain to find a good solution.

As I said, love makes you selfish.

For the family on the fact that they love Anu and want his happiness, they are smothering him with Akriti.

For Anu he just wants to be acknowledged for his relationship with Gungun, except he is in a delicate situation, but he is not selfish at all.

I would be Anubav, it's time he made his family understand things. There is a limit to the "responsibilities" towards them.
