I have a vague memory of reading it long back... I always prefer books to screen. Love historical too.. Have you read the historical romances of Judith Mcnaught( Kingdom of Dreams ❤️, Almost Heaven Something Wonderful, Whitney my Love)? If not try them... The women in her series are very spirited, despite the chauvinistic male.

They are individual stories but Whitney and Kingdom are connected coz they are are married to same dukedom... I thing Whitney was written before Kingdom, though chronologically Kingdom's FL is Whitney's husband's ancestor (grandma may be)

Exactly! Although I won’t include Akriti because she didn’t interact directly with Riddhesh as the rest of the characters. She did things more behind Riddhesh’s back. But Riddhesh saw and felt betrayed by the rest of the characters.
