Oh it is a dictatorship totally...and BP is the dictator...its clearly seen that he is no HOF just a control freak for all his sanskar and shudd hindi. If PH wanted to whitewash Anu, they could totally create a sequence where they show in FB how BP further blackmailed and/or ordered Anu to get married to Akriti which is why he went through with the marriage even after teh temple fiasco. (I'm not excusing Anu, just speculating how they could explain/excuse his behavior in the future with the tiniest logic if they wanted to)

I don't know about Bengali but the Marathi version of BP is best...he's deciding and controlling when needed but hes also very jovial and modern at times and his family truly respect him not out of formality or fear of blackmail.

Exactly, making you older does not mean you deserve respect and everyone has to listen to you. Respect has to be earned and opinions and judgements can differ. This mentality being termed as sanskaar is disgusting.

You know, as much as I want to bang Anubhav's head on the wall a teeny part of me feels bad for this guy. He's never been given the liberty to decide for himself thus he can't differentiate between what's right for him and what's wrong.

And what's even worst is that families consisting of dictating toxic elders still do exist in every corner of the world.

So I watched the episode and oh my god!

Akriti ka behaviour was like lowest of the low.

Ye chipkali nai cockroach h, she's gandi naali ka keeda.

I can't believe she said all those things to Gungun at this time?

Mujhe bhi rona aa gaya Gungun ko dekh k and damn ye toh đŸ€Ź

Mujhe samjha nai why they were only showing Golu chachu and gang ka reaction to her words. I wanted to see bade papa, vo sargam and vo bakwas singer ka reaction to there sushil sanskaari bahu saying these things.

It's still disgusting bigamy but I'm loving not only Anubhav being unable to leave Gungun but also Gungun not caring about anyone and telling everyone to just leave because they have all hurt her and Dr. Riddesh.

Editing team bakwas h i swear. There is no consistency. They act like half the convo never happened! đŸ€”and ye kya weird sa blur filter daala tha

And what's more disturbing is that K family is shown to be the exact same type of family but are still glorified as being the epitome of being sanskaari, as if even the makers are trying to reach out the message, DICTATORSHIP IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE UPLIFTMENT OF SANSKAARS.

There was once a scene in Ishk Par Zor Nahi, where the leads argue and Ishqi (the FL) says something about being an elder doesn't give them the certificate of always being right. Elders too can make mistakes, grave ones also. And that is damn applicable atm.

Agreed. They show a family so loving, so perfect and then one day, they'll flip randomly and Sitara can take an award for contributing the most families like these. I know PS and omg, they flip at the drop of the hat and they're labelled the most perfect family by the person who they've mentally abused.đŸ€Ș

The writing is so bad nowadays.

Exactly!...unfortunately i can totally understand it...i mean no matter how educated and intelligent you may be in regards to career...when family and familial matters comes into the picture, things change. it doesn't excuse it but it's unfortunately the truth of life just like the fact that such toxic families do exist for some people.

I wish when the truth comes out, they would show a proper breakdown of Anu in front of the family or at least GC gang or at the least by himself if nothing else. Would go a long way to redeem Anu in the eyes of the audience LOGICALLY and maybe win back some hearts towards AnuGun again instead of stupidly brushing everything under the rug and whitewashing the heck out of him.

Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein...this lovely production house's most hit and favorite show! I barely watch ITV shows but have never seen a show with so much drama or a family that is so blatantly criminal and toxic especially with two IPS officers and two army men in it! Oh not to mention the bhabhi in love with devar thing that has been going on for 500 episodes.

Even my brother will write better stories than these so called writers.

Hence, I watch either Pak-dramas, Netflix or OG Disney shows (yes, I still watch them😃) to stop myself from going into depression.

It sucks seeing how bad ITV has de-gressed.
