I tried so hard to but this just didn't work for me. I have been brutally honest with you regarding how none of the characters worked for me from the very beginning. I had invested into Thipkyanchi Rangoli by the time I stumbled upon KKIS and since there was an undeniable link, I thought it would be fun to watch KKIS but sigh.

PS: I watched a small clip of today's episode and indeed, like you said - I couldn't stand him. Like I had said in my KKIS's review - this guy is dumb. So dumb that it is genuinely so embarassing. The scientist of the year was justifying violence, equating a slap with that lame Rubber Ki Chhipkali!

How do they expect anyone to root for such a character? 🤔

I stopped watching this show from Maya's entry. Knew it will be frustrating episodes for few days but never thought in the name of creativity they will butcher so called sanskari family except Golu Chachu.

I did not knew in the beginning vankar is the creative director, did not think it was necessary to know but reading some of the posts got to know it. This confirms that never watch a show where vankar is involved. My mom used to watch GHKPM show regularly and it was so frustrating to see the female lead tortured. Anubhav is second Virat. Like Virat never accepts his mistake the great scientists too will be MCP like him.

Good bye KKIS. Rest 😴 in peace.

I am Science students and we all science students believe on logic But by showing Anubhav as scientist Maker's insulting science.

I mean yes it's fictional story but no one is this much illogical as Anubhav even if anyone is uneducated then also that person hold sane brain.

I just hate the way they degrading logic in serial.

Marathi version is much better where the Male lead matches personality of person who work 8n institute.

I would like to watch this show but If only hotstar provides English subtitles for this version. They only give ES for star plus shows.

It's unlikely that Hotstar will. Since I recently happened to witness the frustration of KKIS viewers on Instagram, I have started doing written updates along with the episode reviews that I had been anyway planning for, It is quite time consuming but I am hoping that if any of the non-Marathi folks were to watch TR, my written updates should be of some help but then again we are at 174th episode and probably, I will not be able to manage doing it for all the previous episodes.

Someone had suggested me to write about the major tracks happened so far so I think, I might try to do that but even with that, it will probably be tough for the non-Marathi fam to understand which is quite unfortunate. Because no matter how detailed I try to get the written updates, I am not doing the dialogue translation. It's not going to be easy to understand.

I wish I could do more. Sigh.

May be I can watch Tamil version. I just could not connect with it when saw the promos. May be I can give it try. They too are following somewhat similar to OG version I think.

It is really sad that CVs don't understand that if you are doing a remake they should give best version of original trying to rectify some of the flaws from there but they just giving worst version of the show.

Even Pandya store like Kkis and Ghum is worse compared to all the other version.

I remember some of the Khorkuto fans sharing that there is this one version that sucks like no other. I just can't recall at the moment if it was Tamil or Malyalam. I hope it was lhe latter and Tamil one would be nice.

Thipkyanchi Rangoli is genuinely going incredibly fantastic. There are subtle but significant changes as compared to the original like the episode where Apurva ( here Gungun ) gets slapped - the scene ends at Netra's ( Akriti's) place in Khorkuto and KKIS but in TR, they have extended the scene a bit where there is a small conversation, an unexpected hug, and an assurance by Shashank to Apurva that she had no fault this particular time in whatever that had happened.

Such a small bit but felt so significant to me. TR has such subtle additional bits which make the character grown and the growing comfort in the relationships seem organic to me. Why TR is working for me!

The less I say about GHKPM, the better. I can't fathom how it is still on-air. 😆

I believe, KKIS could have worked for a lot of people even after the party fiasco if they had just made Anubhav break the marriage with Gungun and not replaced Gungun with Akriti in his life. It killed the whole positive vibe of Kulshreshtas!
