latest developments

the show has definitely taken a new direction and a tone shift Is very apparent. so what do you guys think about it?

I have personally lost touch with the story. it's running around in circles- something I definitely did not expect to happen.

on the bright side, it looks like the twins are finally opening their shop. their love life has been moving along. puttu is still the star of the show. Kusum Ji has become the supportive mother I wanted her to be. she has finally started to stand up to her husband for her children and its amazing to watch.

let me know what you guys think.

the plot has been going around in circles. the girls planning, DP ruining said plans, having a shouting match and it goes on and on in circles. because of all the dragging, playing merry go round and frankly illogical approaches to certain situations I have lost interest in the show. I pop by every now and then to see what is happening. it's unfortunately the same planning and plotting.

Quite true, but unfortunately the story will be over once the girls open their saloon. The writers won't go further and push at other points in how the girls help out other girls (besides stopping their wedding etc.) in inspiring ways. But I love the cast so much that I don't want to say goodbye to the show yet.

The COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult for them to focus on the actual shop storyline, hence the plot is in circles. I admit I have also lost interest in show and am watching less often, though I do binge the episodes when I do.

I don't think so because we all know that our show centre set is barber shop and hathi bazaar due to Corona crisis it made the team to shift the direction of the storyline for few weeks. And honestly I don't felt like bored as they are focusing why indian parents are so Orthodox when it comes to marriage! .

Well said and the show definitely has a lot of potentials as the show not only consists of twins opening the shop but also fighting the patriarchal society.

BTW do participate in the episode discussion thread

I wish they focus on track ritu - her 'mission exam' and fun banters for that... leave that shop opening apart for a while until they get back to original location....

My point is story should move !

They can have sidetracks/temp story:

- escape ritu for exam

- encourage her to speak her heart.... break engagement & focus on study

- How mamaji acts change of heart and .... girls outsmart him in his own game...

- can bring in a bit of domestic violence/gender inequality ... with some female worker in resort...help her fight back...etc

- girls uncover unethical things mamaji doing for money making (like shortcuts)...
