Wohi I feel this is the prime reasons and they never took acknowledge to think why twins are different in this rather in the childhood . Both are so much difference that MLs understood but their own parents didn't. Both have grown up in such a situation where they cannot communicate with their mom and father never took interest and rest were not eligible to took or share . So both find solace and strength in each other.

They know the twins are different, they dont encourage the difference and want to push both into a mould that they dont fit in at all. Pramod saw it because he cared to notice them for who they actually are rather than who they have to be for DP'sake, Vikram saw Gunnu-Sattu's hardwork as young boys in Haathi Bazaar and appreciated that. They have both taken from their father in terms of his akkad, but they have different ways of showing it and stand stronger together because they are so different and complete each other in that sense 🤗

Dharmpal and Susheela are a little similar in the sense that they do love each other but dont know how to express it without arguing with each other. DP humiliates her, calls her out, does a lot of things she does not like, but at the end of the day she still loves her father, and he too loves her, just wants her to fit into his ideal mould and stick to those limits. Conditional hai parent love, which is unfair. Susheela is taking time to recognise Pramod's love because she does not know the meaning of it at all, she is still learning.

He is merciless when it comes to his own idealogies and wants to push them on the family members too. They do anything out of line and immediately they are supposed to end up in hell or something.
