Okay, this is my attempt to figure out W*F is going on in this drama, and honestly, I haven't seen the past few episodes, so I'm basing this fic on what I've been reading. In all honesty, I think this is going to be fairly OOC but my frustration is pushing through and I can't take much more. Kali, Yug, Manjiri & Sharmila all deserve so much better than this nonsense.

"Kya?!"

Kaali couldn't believe what she was hearing, and yet, as she looked around the empty location, the young bride had to admit Survi was right. No one was here, and there was no sign of anyone actually ever having been here either.

Rubbing her forehead slightly trying to stave off the warning signs of a blooming headache, Kaali looked at her phone as though expecting answers to come out of nowhere. It was futile though, and no amount of wishful thinking would change that. What confused her though was why her best friend, her sister, why Gauri would exclaim that she had been kidnapped. It made no sense, and yet...

"Kali, I think we should leave, aakhir your wedding is happening, and you don't want to cause more confusion for your family, hai na?"

Survi watched the young woman as she stood there so still, as though somehow something had clicked inside. It was never easy for her to watch another innocent person being hurt in any way, and right now, Kaali needed help. And the truth - that was extremely important. Survi quietly prayed to God, asking Him to give Kaali strength to face the truth, because it was obvious that someone was lying to her. The question was who, and why.

As though coming out of a trance, Kaali turned towards the older woman, and sighed heavily. Someone was playing a horrible game, and she had lost. Again. Time and time again, Kaali had put everyone's interests before hers, because she believed in them. She believed that they were good people, just with extremely superstitious beliefs.

It had taken over fourteen years for her badke papa to finally realise the truth, and even then, his overcompensation came at the cost of someone else. In this case it was his princess. And instead of understanding, Gauri was adamant that Kaali would bend to her will, just like it had happened in the past.

Kaali began realising that everything she had done in the name of being Gauri's sister, friend and protector had been steadily undoing any sort of sisterly bond they shared. Instead of badke papa believing that Kaali was a kaala teeka, it was now Gauri. The same Gauri that only a few months ago abhorred hearing that very term.

The young bride's face slowly changed as she thought deeper as to how much she had been manipulated, how many problems everyone in her family had caused. No one was innocent, except perhaps her Manji maa and yet, even she was guilty of not being able to prevent the superstitious decisions from the rest of their family.

It was absolutely wrong, and Kaali knew she could only blame herself for how bad it had gotten. However, she wasn't going to despair now, she had no time for this. The wrong choices had been made and she needed to right them. No matter how unhappy she was with the way things had happened, she was just as much at fault and only she could make this right. Her badke papa & Manji maa deserved that much; Yug deserved that.

Her eyes closed thinking of her new husband, of her Ram. She couldn't hurt him, not anymore, not the way he had been by Gauri, by his dadi. He alone needed to know the truth, and with the way things were turning out now, she had to hurry and get home - before something else went wrong.

"Survi ji, thank you for showing me the truth. I believed blindly again, and now I'm late to my own wedding. I can only pray Ramji won't let anything else happen until I get there."

A relieved nod and a gesture to get in the car was her only response.

Ramji, please help me. Please make sure that nothing happens; Gauri isn't here, and for her sake, I hope she was lying to me about being kidnapped. The farce has gone long enough.

Okay, I'm stopping it here because I've suddenly forgotten what I wanted to drive the plot with. That said, hopefully I have the second part to this written fairly quickly.

Much love & hugs for all of you for dealing with the screwed up CVs,

Thank You so much for writing the first part so quickly.
Love the progression of your tale.
Amazing. Awesome. Fantastic. Fantabulous. Speechless.
Wish it could have been portrayed even half as flawlessly as you.
I will consider this as the sweetest farewell gift I could have ever gotten.
Please keep in touch and pm when you update.
Would like to read each and every part of this beautiful FF.
