Frankly as a thriller fan I am not really impressed how his story was told. Inder as Sethji was a last minute addition?
A lot of things doesn't make sense. Inder could have killed someone many other ways including in a way where a dead body is never found. Why did he plan his fake death in that temple and make it a national news? Death in an accident wpuld keep his brother, wife and the police away from the temple.
What explains his monetary status? How did he manage so much money? Even Namrata who was born an elite was dependent upon him for money. For Namrata 10 crores is a huge sum and for a journalist its just peanuts? If he didn't believe in relationships why did he even get married? Or he got into this business post his marriage and hos daughter's birth? Even a Don's life aint easy. He must have a competitor. How did he rise as a Don and was also a family man until his fake death ?

Just imagine another story like this.

Inder was investigating the temple deaths and somehow he came across the nine shivlings. In further investigation he came to know about a mysterious Sethji. Inder had been following him. He learnt Sethji was his lookalike. Sethji died of natural causes, lets say heart attack or may be his rival gang killed him and they had planted his dead body there in the temple because they know how Sidhpur people dont allow anyone to take the body out of Sidhpur. They cremate it there only. Probably Inder wasnt after the shivlings initially but wheb everyone took the dead body to be that of Inder's he took Sethji's place and started to live his life. It was a better explanation tbh.

Complete look alike is not possible unless they are identical twins.
Only explanation maybe, he became too ambitious. As a reporter, his brain must have been full of ideas. How he became so wealthy? He is ruthless. Must have looted some big businessman or jeweller and killed him. Got hold of all his diamonds and wealth. Began to gather some goondas to help him.
He was not happy with his middleclass life. And so he made his journey into the crime world.
But every smart criminal can make mistakes when he becomes over confident. Thats why he made some mistakes. He overestimated himself.
I will not rule out drug peddling as it can make one a billionaire very fast. Inder must have become a big criminal by indulging in all sorts of criminal activities.
Brains and criminal outlook. A lethal combination.

@ Bold, For that logic even changing someone's face with plastic surgery is not possible . Though not exact duplicate, lookalikes arent uncommon.Inder died of grave injuries where his face was a bit damaged. So, it would have been logical than the platic surgery thing.
How did he loot a business man without anyone's knowledge? He has began his career from scratch. And how much did he loot? This kind of security and keeping an army will cost in crores . Common, he has been shown as an international don. This doesn't happen by looting business man. Its not a part time job

He must have been planning targetting some very rich man. Becoming his confidant. It is possible.
His becoming criminal is not sudden. The seeds must have been sown long back. Or drug peddling.

Trust me, no rich man will make a journalist his confidant. If he doee he isnt going to lose all his wealth to his new friend.
Drug peddling makes sense. Still one doesn't make an international don by peddling drugs.I am trying to understand how nobody noticed how he was getting into the world of crime. Is it possible?Crime world i s far more organized than our system. Lot of competitors there and here he is an international don. You cannot remain anonymous there. Not police but your rivals will get all your details. Namrata is a different case.

The rich man may not know who Inder was. A person who inherits wealth may not be a very brainy person. Or blackmailing is also possible after knowing some secrets. Inder must have been an intelligent criminal because even his wife could not read him.

Both Namrata and Inder have no reason to become so negative and killers. Just for the sake of sensationalism, the writers made them so bad killing their own people without a second thought. Namrata should have married Inder. Perfect partners!
