Kaajjal is still waiting for Dev to answer how come there are crackers coming from this deserted island. Dev thinks to himself that he is getting deeper into this whole lie, but he has no choice. Kaajjal gets angry when she realises he has no adequate answer, and accuses him of lying. In his momentary confusion he accepts that he has been lying to her and says its not an island, it's a big city!
She gets so angry she accuses him of eternal lying and walks away.
He knows he has to call her back somehow ... and then he gets an idea! He starts pretending to laugh bursting his sides with hearty laughter. She asks if he is mad laughing at her misery, to which he says, "It is an island and I was just fooling you it's the city!"
He says "I planned it all as a surprise for you. I brought you here by boat after kidnapping you, then I fixed the crackers far away and lit their fuses by a long rope from here so you will think its all happening somewhere else!"
She believes this and is truly happy he has gone to such lengths for her happiness during Diwali. She asks" Where is that boat you brought me in?"
Dev has no answer ... but as she sleeps that night he thinks he has to get that boat somehow or she will again suspect by morning.
Meanwhile at night Kaajjal hears the drumbeats and shouts from afar again and imagines adivasis nearby. Dev is left to console her to sleep again and he gently puts his coat over her to keep away the cold. All the while he doesn't know what to do about the boat … till he gets an idea!
Meanwhile they show Dad and Daadi, Kamayani and Ranvir all at home where a cop takes Kaajjal's photo from her Dad and says they will find her somehow, and he would like to publish this in all the media and TV. Kamayani is stressed that this may expose her brother and insists she knows the Police Commissioner and will speak to him. Dad agrees in a vague way.
Meanwhile Ranvir pretends to apologize to Dad for all this mess and says he has asked his men to search all over for Kaajjal. In front of Dad Kamayani pretends to really shout at her brother in disgust and tells him to get out and find Kaajjal!
Meanwhile at home Daadi and Dad are really missing Kaajjal and first blaming each other for bringing her up so cosseted that things have come to this stage. Then they both realise their mistake in blaming each other and Dad promises Daadi he will find Kaajjal.
At the beach, Kaajjal and Dev are now chatting as friends. She tells him how her family cossets her from childhood, and even how close she is to Daadi and tells her everything, even about her heart's love! Dev is a bit surprised to hear this.
Kaajjal then tells him how her Dad, though he is gruff, actually loves her and used to always stay away from office on her birthdays to be with her.
She then asks Dev "Did your parents also on your birthday...?" and then she suddenly realises that he doesn't have parents. He looked very sad and says he has never seen his parents at all and his Chacha and Chachi are the only ones he knows.
To change the subject Kaajjal asks when is his birthday and is shocked to hear him say "November 10th" because its her birthday too! He is shocked and pleased to hear that coincidence!
They are still looking for the boat and Kaajjal asks Dev "How much further, we have walked so long?"
Just then Dev spots the bags with the clothes he bought for Kaajjal somehow lying on the sand now, as also the packet of food. She looks surprised - and he covers up by saying it must all have come from the boat where he kept the clothes and food, but the adivasis must have robbed the boat and left all this behind as they only eat meat and not this kind of food.
When she again launches into more questions, he tells her to run and stop talking as the adivasis may hear and try to eat her. She runs fast from there and he runs with her.
At his house meanwhile, Ranvir tells Kamayani that his men have spotted Dev in Ganpatiphule market so Kaajjal must be there with him and she can soon be found. Kamayani is thrilled with this news ... but Ranvir then says "We should tell Dhanraj Uncle ..." to which Kamayani tells him he is a fool!
She says they should let Dhanrraj stew in agony for a while longer - like hunters make their prey suffer for a bit before capture. She tells Ranvir not to worry about his "izzat" after the shouting he got from Dhanraj. His izzat may be now on low tank with Dhanraj but they both are only interested in Dhanraj's money at the moment and not Dharnraj's izzat for Ranvir. And when his daughter has to marry Ranvir, Dhanraraj will have to give his son-in-law izzat anyway! Both smile in an evil way! Freeze.
