DEV and KAAJJAL belong eternally to Apu and Surveen

but if i had to pick another couple to play Dev and Kaajjal it would be Hiten and Gauri... cause i feel they have some of that spice that Apu and Surveen had in them too...

I think Apu & Sur had that special magic in them that set them apart from the regular types of cute romantic couples.........They are a class apart and that is why they made their characters Dev and Kajjal so classy and also immortalised these characters for us..... Its not easy to replace them, bec then you've got to really have 2 individuals who have that extra special magic like they had in them to replace them..... So for me Dev and Kajjal will and always be Apu & Sur......

I think Apu and Sur had one of the best chemistry that I have ever seen on TV. If they had to be replaced, it would be really hard to find a DK pair that could match that sizzling chemistry. Perhaps, Iqbal Khan and Neha Bamb could be good replacement but they still wouldn't compare to Apu Sur. Iqbal Khan has good screen presence, powerful voice and attitude that would do the role of DPS justice. Neha Bamb has the sweet innocent look that is needed for the role of Kaajjal.

Changing actors never means the show will ever improve...

The viewers always have a personal fav once they are glued to the characters and their faces...

As for this show...They did a grave mistake by replacing them with 2 new actors...they could have just ended the show... Coz for many ppl...its like this for them: Hear the name of the character, they will only think of that person's face...Say Dev...remember who? Apurva! Say Kaajjal...remember who...Surveen!

The viewers at times cannot accept the sudden change of their fav characters... 😛

It is not just the change in beloved Apu Sur that is leading to this show's demise. It is also the poor writing. Even when Apu-Sur were in the show, it was still getting low TRPs due to the lack of fresh ideas and the show had lost its focus that attracted the viewers to it in the first place. So no matter how talented and attractive the DK replacement actors are, with this poor writing and storyline, they don't have a chance in winning over viewers.

I would never want to see anyone else in Dev's (Kinshuk's) Place. To be honest, if he is to be ever replaced i would neva watch Kaajjal again!!
