Hottie is shocked to see the painting of old Kaajjal in the photo. Kaajjal asks what she is shocked about and she tells her it is the painting of her old friend. Katie is shocked and explains it's an imaginary painting of an image that repeats in her mind, and Hottie must be mistaken for she (Kaajjal) has never set eyes on this old Kaajjal.
Hottie then takes the incredulous Kaajjal to her room and shows photographs of her old friend! Kaajjal is shocked that she has actually painted the face of a real person who was indeed Hottie's friend! Hottie says it cannot be all for no reason that Kaajjal was magnetised to come to India from London and even to meet her (Hottie) etc. It cannot be coincidence. It has to be some ishara!
Kaajjal spends the night wondering what all this means. Why was she magnetised to come to India just hearing that tune on that phone call? Why did she feel a pull here, and from whom? Who is the soul pulling at her heart?
Meanwhile they also show Dev in bed holding the taveez that Kaajjal had dropped in the field. He thinks: Who could have got this lucky taveez and then dropped it in some field where he (Dev) could find it? Could it be some new luck for him?
Kaajjal thinks she should do something quickly to find out what is pulling her so much to this place, this tune – in the just two days she has left in India. Who can she get help from?
Meanwhile Chavani tells Dev that a big music company is holding auditions in their village the next day for a big album. Dev starts imagining wild success as a singer, and thinks it's the luck of the taveez bringing such opportunity to his doorstep.
Meanwhile an expensive car is seen driving the next day at maniacal speed into the village. The car almost knocks over Chavani, but Dev saves him in time.
The driver of the car is a rich young man with a sardarji assistant. The driver stops and tries to ask if Chavani is hurt and offers money condescendingly.
Dev takes a very aggressive stance putting a strong hand on the guy's collar and stuffing the money back into his pocket "for buying toffees". The villagers also join Dev as he berates the rich guy that this is Punjab and his behaviour better shape up! The rich young man, seeing he is cornered apologises but keeps staring at Dev as he returns to his car. Dev also is staring at him.
Dev is then seen going to the dargah and praying for success of his audition. As he comes out of the dargah, Kaajjal comes into the dargah. He sees her ... but pretends not to and acts cool, till she is near him.
Then he acts like she has spoilt his day because she is asking him what has he come to pray for and where is he off to? He says: Are you, Queen Victoria, now a Maharani asking me questions?" and he refuses the answer.
Just then Chavani comes there with his guitar and says "Stop fighting, we are getting late." They both leave as Kaajjal in a huff goes into the dargah …
In the next scene they show the audition where one after another many singers sing their pieces. But when Dev goes to the stage the person who is conducting the auditions (his face is hidden behind his laptop) shouts "Next" not allowing Dev a chance! Dev protests that he has been missed out, but the rich man behind the laptop rises. He is the driver of that car!
Same preview as yesterday: Kajal wondering if Hottie can help her decipher these images of her past that keep affecting her, and she wonders if she should take Hottie's help and go to Mumbai!
(Friends, it looks like this rich young man may try not to let Dev sing, but maybe Kaajjal will pray in the dargah and some chamatkar will thus help Dev? I have a sneaking suspicion this rich young man may be Karan's son, maybe from Radio City? Just a suggestion based on my intuition!)
