Hey there!!
Whatwith everyone so depressed n trying to hand in the papers, the forum seems to be under a dark spell. All good things dont last forever n so is it with DK magic.The problem is one cannot have too much of a good thing n its natural for us to ask, nay demand for more n if denied, there's bloody murder around..Folks,its time to clear the air n sing auld lang syne n rally round each other n look for imagined silver linings in the present track..Lemme see whether I can intrude myself into the attention span of the stalwarts of the site n get them on a merry roll..After reading reams of Autumn Leaf n Kashish's FF n reeling under their intoxicating effect, I dedicate this small n mediocre piece of writing to the quarto of:
1. Autumnleaf : The serene Sovereign of Loveland..Who is waited hand n foot by the goddess Venus herself.
2. Jyoti : The Ruling Rani of Ratna-Giri..All her giris r ratnas n her tons of ten ways r yet to be outwritten..
3. Kashish : She calls herself thesaint, which she aint..The Purple Princess of Passion..Love comes alive at her magic touch..
4. Sammy : Last but not least..My very own Red Knight of Romance.. Owe my debut to her..Otherwise I'd be silently sneaking in n out of the Forum..Of late she'd found chinks in her shining armour n she's talking of renouncing the Knighthood..
Well, here goes..We pick up from yesterday..Dev asks Kaajal to sing bt she hesitates..Aditya plays on the sitaar n Kajjal merrily hums along without giving so much as a look at her husband n what is written clearly on his handsome face in bold letters..As this gaana bajaana goes on Dev cant stand it anymore..Its sheer agony for him..He had never experienced what it was like to feel those sharp green darts..Never felt insecure before..It leaves him hollow n weak..He stares at Kaajal n then at Aditya.. clenches his fists so that it hurts n gnashes his teeth...A silent fury is working inside n a pulse beats at his jaw..In one swift movement, he strides out the hall n reaches the haven of his bedroom..Stands close to the window n wonders whether after all Frailty's name is woman..gloomily stares at the sky which has no moon..Darkness everywhere..Break
Downstairs..heavy applause for the new opera singer..encores demanded n after all the goatish euphoria subsides Kajal misses her husband n starts looking for him..Shivaansh, squinting hard in satisfaction n grinning like a skull all the time, perfectly attuned to Dev's feelings..Dinner announced..Kajal finally spots her husband upstairs..She tries cosying upto him n asks why he did a vanishing act..Dev slowly releases himself n says in a distant tone, "voh.. an important phone call aaya tha..office se..tho main..yahaan chalaa aaya" ( in typical Dev Staccato)
K : Achcha theek hai Dev..Khana thaiyar hai.. aur sab humhare intezaar kar rahe hain.. khaas karke Aditya aur Sunidhi aunty ( Dev visibly winces).. ab chalenge bhi? ( in blissful ignorance)
D: umm..Nahin kajal..thum jao..mujhe bhook nahin hai... ( what Jyo would call Dev's Starvinggiri..)
Kajal then goes on to coax him n convinces him to join the rest for dinner..at the table, Kaajal pays special attention to Aditya's needs..like forcing gaajar ka halwa down his throat..😆Dev silently fumes n hardly eats anything...growing more angry with himself for allowing this madness to happen to him n torn aprt by doubts.. Camera panning the evil faces of S n Ameesha.Finally Dev pleads the excuse of a nonexistent phone call n makes his escape good. Kaajal notes that Dev had hardly eaten anything n after bidding goodbye to the goat family, decides to take a glass of milk n some fruits to hubby dahling..Break
Scene shifts to bedroom again..Dev is lying on bed..getting flashes of Kajal's cooing towards Aditya n Shivansh's warnings echo in his ears..He hears Kajal calling him Dev n in a split second decides to play possum.
K: Dev..u hardly ate anything..So I thought I'll bring something to u..Chalo chalo..thoda sa dhoodh pi lo Dev..
D : ZZZ ( He doesnt snore, mind u..just pretends to be asleep..wants to see how K reacts to him)
K:Dev.., Dev? She notices dat he's fast asleep.. n sets down her tray of goodies on a small table near the cot. Sits down on the bed beside Dev n looks lovingly into his face..Notices how wan n tired his handsome features are n she slowly places her hand on his forehead n ever so gently sweeps up his unruly mane (n murmurs: U'll have to make it to ur hairstylist Dev"😆..) n her right hand traces his eyelashes, making him shiver inside..She bends down down down n Dev feels her sweet breath on his face n the heat rises up in his veins..All his doubts resurface n he still resists her..n kaju bends down to plant a light- as-a feather kiss on his forehead..A surge of emotions rips Dev apart bt he grits his teeth.Still asleep..Kajal looks at Dev again, blushes n smiles to herself n then supremely at peace, places her head on Dev's chest..( shirt conveniently open at the throat Jyoti..Gurumata ki Jai ho..😃) not knowing what passionate storms had been raging inside him of late..Dev..a volcano erupts on his senses..He's on fire..Torn b/w trust n suspicion..Kaajal ..his very own..can she ever do this to him..All his being screams a negative n he wants to throw his arms around her n suffocate her in his love then n there..His heart thuds against his ribs..blood pounding like mad..n he breaks out into a sweat..Kaajal, instinctively looks up from his chest n sees the beads of sweat that had formed over his upper lip..Dev watches her under his lashes with bated breath..She smiles,swings herself to sit straight n smiling still.. runs a slow n possessive finger over his lip,carefully wiping away each bead..Dev feels the icy hot knives of desire slash him..he knows dat his wife,his kaajal..can never betray him.. n when kaajal wipes away that last drop Dev pulls her to him so hard n she 's rolled on to him..Freeze..
Whew!! my 1st attempt at script writin..So excuse d half boiledness n hope this cheers you some..n hope the hotshots pick up on where I'd left...n make it truly awesome..Cheers all..😊
