I had gone for a shoot to Bangkok and I got six days free for myself. They gave me an option of flying back to Mumbai or going to Thailand. Quite wisely, I chose the second option and went to Krabi, which is an hour away from Bangkok. Top of the world The place had everything - from rock climbing to scuba diving. And the small islands in the middle of the sea were a visu- al treat with their white sandy beaches and stunning lime- stone cliffs. There's also some great option for adventure-sport lovers - from sea kayaking to island hopping and mountain climbing. I did a scuba diving course and it was quite adven- turous. Fun times For the first time I had fun rock climbing. At one point, I felt I couldn't go any further but when I looked down, I realised I had no option but to keep going upwards. Return- ing from there was real scary and difficult. I'm more of a beach person, I head to Goa every three months with my family. But the Krabi experience was something else. And the food was awesome.. especially the grilled fish delicacies. I'd love to revisit Krabi with my family some day. Lakshwadeep is the next on my list.
