dev is in his room thinking sadly why kajal is even refusing to recognise him and he thinks his love with kajal may be over now ... he is sad ...
meanwhile adi tells kajal to sleep the night in sonia's room so mother will not suspect why she is not with dev her husband ... aditya sleeps on a sofa in the living room ... in the night kajal thinks why this dev looks like he was connected with her in the past...
... she gets up and in a daze walks over to dev's quarters to his verandah ... Dev sees her and says I knew you will come to me. You were alwas mine. No one can separate Dev and Kajal.
all this kajal hears in a dreamlike happy trance as she hugs Dev tightly ... she seems to be getting her memory of dev back in a strong way ... but suddenly then memories of the goondas etc come back and she tries to run away. She says she belongs only to aditya.
dev asks why did she then come in search of him and hug him... she has no reply and runs into the house in shock and crying, and hugs aditya in the hallway, which his mother sees!
