To add to Jyoti's great analysis of Dev's character, I want to say that the beauty of this particular portrayal of Dev by Apurva is that it is a very complex character often shifting between acute love and acute anger ... it would be easy for any lesser actor to overact both ways, but Apurva's acting has been so beautifully restrained ... just right for conveying the deep feelings but not looking like either a soppy love-sick person or a crazy angry coot!

This is a fine performance of someone in internal conflict! And almost all of it is in the eyes ... specially since many times the words are not said but "thought" in the mind with only the eyes to show the flitting emotions!

Now let me remind you of the comparison with the wooden Dhruv who stood at attention and even tharshed the guy who did not respect the national anthem What was that? Do we call that acting? 🐷
