DOTW- True Love Never Did Run Smooth

Love is so complicated.If only our hearts were visible, wouldn't it be so much easier to express and see ones's most inner emotions as well as prevent the fear of rejection. Unfortunately we are not created that way so the pain of love resides within, be it an unrequited love or a broken heart. However our eyes can express what our heart fails to show. As much as Dev Pratap Singh hides his fears and feelings, his eyes and actions tell another story. He is trying so hard to hide that he can't and never will be able to fall in love again. Yet as we progress week after week it seems Mr Dev is falling for Kaajjal hook, line and sinker. Their attraction as much as Dev tries to deny and hide it, is growing. He can't keep his eyes off her, yet still he rejects her.

We know that Dev has been hurt and scarred by love before and it has left a wound so deep, that it still causes Dev anguish. From the pain he sometimes expresses its obvious, Kaajjal is going to have a tough time trying to take over Dev's heart, although the roots are growing it will be some time before their love fully blossoms. The problem is will Dev accept her love or reject it?and if he does accept her will she be able to fully occupy his heart? Or will she always be living in the shadow of his first love?

Last week showed us a sneak preview of how Dev is feeling, Dev seems to be battling with his heart and Kaajjal is the root cause of the problem. Bearing in mind that Kaajjal is Dev's second love…my questions for all you lovely people to discuss are:

1. Is it possible to fall in love twice? And will it ever be stronger than that of your first love?

2. Assuming Dev's first love passed away….what is it he is feeling that is restricting him from accepting Kaajjal, from allowing him to break free and cross the barriers that are holding him back and admit that he has feelings for her? Is he scared? Is he feeling guilty and wrong ?is he feeling like he is betraying his first love?

3. Will his past always haunt him? Will the shadow of his first love cloud his love for Kaajjal? Or can he move on.

4.Do you think that Dev will give Kaajjal a chance?and could she perhaps be his true love?like they say everything happens for a reaosn. Is it possible that perhaps a second love can prove itself to be the only true love?

Love as they say is blind and true love will never ever have a smooth ride because love tests your limits. It makes you think and sometimes even pumps that adreline to just take a leap of faith for someone who rules your mind, body and soul.

But what really sets true love apart from anything is that no matter how hard you try to move away from it, it keeps coming back to you and makes you realize that it is here to stay.

Whether you act on it or not is entirely upto you. But love is complicated it touches all of us entirely different. It is the most powerful feeling in this world which can either make your life or break your entire exsistence in a heartbeat.

To believe in love is to believe in life, that is what I believe. In this life if you love someone and that love gets reciprocated by the same person then it is heaven on earth. If it does not then it is hell on yourself.

I would like to end by saying a small famous quote, "If you love someone and they return to you then you were meant to be together. If they do not then that love was never meant for you."

Heartaches and Heartbreaks are a part and parcel of life and if you love someone and you know in your heart that this is the person that your heart desires and know one else. Act on it as true love never waits for anyone.

Love can happen at anyplace, anytime and usually does at the most unexpected moments in life.

And true love as long as there is a believe will always find a way to come back to you.

Dev has right now completely given himself to his first LOVE!!!So, when he realsies that he loves Kaajjal, (which he will), he would give his 100% to it...Dev is a man wh gives his best in everything, profession, Love...name it and have it!!.........

anyways coming to your questions!!

1. I personally feel that LOVE is a very strong emotion that is very rarely found in this world!!! And If that happens between 2 ppl then its permanent....you can never fall out of LOVE!!!
u can definitely fall out of an infactuation, CRUSH etc etc!!
So, i can expect Dev to fall twice!!!Once you fall out of the first emotion, its not difficult to feel the same intensity or more than that for the second one!!!
But again, wouldnt call it LOVE!!

2.Dev feels that anyone who comes close to him, leaves him and goes....whether it was his first love or his Dad!!! He is scared to get ppl close to him and get involved with him!! I think thats one reason why he keeps his mom at bay!!

3. Oh yes, He will move on!! Dhruv has been introduced keeping this in mind!!

4. As I said before...LOVE can only be once!! When Dev reaches his ultimate goal - Kaajjal, he would realise that everthing is written in the destiny and he cannot fight it...The first gal had to go to pave way for a more intense love and a better life with Kaajjal...If Kaajjal can make him happy, he need not regreat anything in life again!!!

well as far as im concerned, i feel that if first love is unsucessful, then everyone is given a second chance to love. it is up to that person to accept or reject that love. while nobody can forget their first love , first love is like a breath of fresh air, will always stay with u, no matter what. second love is more secure as after losin love once, the person comes to appreciate the value of love more.

i think this is wat will happen to Dev. while he may never forget his first love, if he accepts his love of Kajjal, instead of denyin it all the time, then his love will be stronger n for keeps. 😃
