Bride and Predudice was a bit similar.............yes it was based on a same theme but with a different culture.It was a beautiful story n i loved it..................its surely a classic love story...............n my fav novel too😊

i was also thinking after last night's episode that kaajjal is similar to pride and prejudice

Kajjal thiinkd dEv is a selfish , aggressive man who think of nothing but himself but then if she relises tjhe truth about him , her feels for him will be full of devotion and she will think of him as a good person after all the fights tribulations

Me too, I'm a Jane Austen fan. I like her novels for the same reasons you have mentioned. Haven't read Mansfield Park or Northanger Abbey yet though.
