If you really like art house cinema, do watch Antim Shwash Shundor, Indrani Haldar has given one of her best performances in it and I am sure you'll like it

I don't know what u mean by Gigolos 😕 but yes she had it with male strip-teasers, I saw it at Forum but I think the DVD must've come out

I consider Bandini's fan following retarded - that anybody will be fans of a jodi of a middle aged man and someone who was 16 when he married her is just obscene. I never figured what it was about this pair that they found attractive. I can understand people being fans of Jyotir, Suday, Karman & Sumran in PKCM, Arjuhi in KMH, Swaditya in Sarvagunn Sampann, Avita in GkD, Bharli in BAVD, Neerdhya or Yuvsa in RS, and in Bandini itself, Hiten-Khemi, Sandeep-Kadambari, Sarang-Monghi (before these 3 jodis were ruined by Ekta who thinks that Sanraj is the only healthy relationship in the show when in fact, it's the most dysfunctional of all). So don't worry about the wackos who may jump off a bridge or rooftop when Bandini comes to an end - watch Jyoti when the episodes are fine, and avoid it when Jyoti does things stupid like conceal things from Kabir, meet Pankaj in secret, et al.

It is a real pity that only such breezy love stories having intense romantic scenes and almost zero story intensity seem to have an active audience, Pratigya being an exception and Geet, Hui Sabse Parayi being the prime example.
It's time we got a more mature audience who moves to shows with more depth and sense rather than the ones who only end up being eye-candies with romantic scenes and Bollywood music playing in the backdrop

The other thing that I have a major problem w/ is serials/movies where forced marriages are celebrated as something laudable, rather than repugnant - where it's okay to force someone to marry someone that s/he does not like, and justify it later by showing their romance develop. Bandini is again a prime example, where almost all the marriages in the serial were forced, be it Santo, Kadambari, Sashank, Monghi, Khemi. Another great example being DHKJ, where Preeti was forced to marry Suryakamal, who she couldn't stand, and viewers being fans of their pairing despite the abuse she suffered. The other thing is how all female leads become doormats in almost every serial. That's what makes RS so attractive right now - Sandhya resolving to wreck havoc on her 'sasural' for killing her father & Neeraj & deceiving her.

None of the show in TV is real . Even though some shows tried to be realistic but they never worked . be it Radha ki Betiyaan or Kashi . In India people only loves fairytale stories and Saas Bahu sagas. Most importantly all shows become same after a certain period of time.

me 2 think the same....people just do not want to watch shows with gud storyline, theme or message....take the example of Jyoti(in the beginning), or the RS....both having much less TRPs....n m sure dat the new upcoming show 'Aarakshan' will too not get expected TRPs, which gonna be an awesome show........
..while some shows like Bandini, Geet, PR,etc., which actually have no storyline but only stupid romantic eye-lock scenes, have got so much loyal viewers n TRPs.....ugh!!!!
