Part 1

Kabir & Jyoti are @ their temple praying. Kabir lights the diyas, and thanks the deity for the light in his life, his Jyoti. Jyoti smiles cutely @ him. Just then, the gust becomes stronger, almost blowing out the diyas, and so Jyoti comes around and covers it, so that they stay lit 🤗 Kabir tells her that fire and light have a strange relationship: they meet, and burn, for light. He says that he's heard the same thing about light, but today, he realizes that for one to meet the other is an achievement in itself. Like them. Jyoti tells him that she has something in her head that she wants to say, and Kabir tells her that words come from the mind, not from the head, and he's familiar w/ both. He tells Jyoti that she is wondering whether the decision she arrived @ was out of either necessity or duress. He tells her that there was a lot of pressure on her - marry, raise the kid in a healthy environment, but he knows his Jyoti: had she needed him, she'd have come to him long ago. But when her heart told her that she loves him and wants to live w/ him, that's when she came to him. Jyoti smiles, and wonders how anybody can know anyone else soooo well? 😊❤️ Kabir tells her that when 2 minds meet, there are no boundaries b/w them. And only the mind knows the mind.

Jyoti tells him that she knows her mind. B'cos she had a person w/ her who's her friend. To whom she doesn't fear or hesitate to say anything. Who realizes that a woman doesn't want a support, but a companion. One who respects woman (that's soooo different from Pankaj!!!) One who proclaimed his love to her when he had no idea that she was carrying someone else's baby. But once he knew, But even when he got to know that, he didn't turn away. And told her that he loves everything associated w/ her the way he loves her w/o any reservations. She was bound to see the light about him. They have a tender moment, and then, Kabir tells her that from his childhood, he'd tell his toys about his likes & dislikes. He then goes down on his knees in front of her ❤️ but then tells her that he is speechless 😆 Jyoti tells him that since his mind speaks for him, where is his need to speak? (Just speaking for myself, I prefer people who can say what's on their mind, rather than expect ESP from their spouses) He then vows to her that from this day, to prevent her from ever being hurt, her confidence in him will not be broken, her decisions will be his, and that this baby will get his name. Jyoti tells him that she accepts him as her companion ❤️😍 They then hug.

In Verma's office, he gives Pankaj the divorce papers, and tells him where to sign. Pankaj signs. He tells him that if he thinks Jyoti will re-marry him, to get these papers signed by Neelam. Pankaj tells him that he's prepared to do anything to get his kid (he sounds like a mafia guy, and I really wish Verma, who's familiar w/ Jyoti's divorce, would remind him of the condition that he agreed to when he divorced Jyoti)

In the hospital, Poonam is fuming, asking where was the need to throw her into this situation? If there is any turbulence, people will say that her step mother... and Padma turns & glares @ her (I absolutely love this - Poonam letting slip what she really thinks of her dear saas)

Part 2

Padma turns and stares, not @ Poonam, but @ Jyoti, who enters w/ Kabir, hand in hand ❤️ Poonam too turns towards her. Jyoti tells her that this is her decision, and a furious Padma tells her that she refuses to accept it. She advances towards Jyoti, but Dadi steps in front of her and stops her. She tells her that Jyoti has taken the correct decision by listening to her heart 👏 (Padma, ain't that what you asked Jyoti to do, when you asked her to disregard her father and you?) Dadi tells Padma that her anger would have been right in its proper place, but the reason she is angry is due to her ego. She tells her to suppress her ego for the happiness of her daughter (make that 'step', Dadi, just like your dear bahurani has 😆) and tells her that when 2 people accept each other in their hearts, it's best to accept that. She then describes this combo as a Rama-Sita jodi and asks her to bless them. Padma doesn't, but Kabir & Jyoti then get blessed by Dadi herself. She tells them that it takes time to get used to something new, and to give Padma that time. She then sends them to KK.

Jyoti & Kabir go to KK, and she tells him that she's listened to him and chosen her companion, and that he too should listen to her and recover quickly. KK is happy to see them, and tells her that the happiness on her face tells him everything. He turns to Kabir, takes his hand and puts Jyoti's hand in Kabir's 😍 and blesses them. Deepu looks grumpy. KK then tells Kabir how after his accident, Jyoti managed the whole family, earning for them and giving everybody tuitions - she herself doesn't realize where she lost her childhood. He asks Kabir to return Jyoti her childhood (that shouldn't be difficult, given the pranks & gags Kabir is capable of pulling off on Jyoti, like in that theater)

KK then turns to a still grumpy Deepu, and tells him that a relationship that's accepted by the heart is one that even the gods bless. He knows that his opinions are different, but asks him to consider this - that nobody can make his sister happier than this person (Kabir). He asks him to trust him on this one. Deepu turns to Kabir and tells him that he has a very short fuse (boy, doesn't Kabir know? 😆) He warns him that once he takes his sister's hand, to never let it go. Or else 😆 Kabir & Deepu then hug!!! (so one more obstacle gone)

Jyoti then goes into a tizzy and is about to collapse, but Kabir grabs her and takes her to the doctor. KK is confident that nothing will happen to her, since she's found her companion.

In the Vashist residence, Pankaj is yelling @ Neelam demanding that she sign the divorce papers, and CM comes in yelling @ him. She asks what is going on, and Neelam crying tells her that Pankaj is divorcing her. CM turns to Pankaj and asks him what's wrong w/ him that he wants to divorce Neelam? For the sake of that girl whose womb contains... Pankaj yells & stops her, and tells her that that baby is his, and he doesn't want to hear a word against her. He demands that CM convince Neelam to sign the papers, or else, he'll leave this house for good and go to his kid (Pankaj-ji, doesn't that depend on Jyoti letting you?) Neelam very reluctantly takes the pen and is about to sign, when Pankaj's phone rings, and Neelam stops.

Pankaj picks up the phone, and Padma tells him that Jyoti won't return to him, and that she has chosen Kabir as her lifelong companion. Pankaj is shocked to hear this, and keeps saying that it can't be 🥳 (Whew, just in time, before Neelam could sign) Both Neelam & CM look @ him, as he leaves, shocked!!!

Part 3

Deepu is trying to explain to Padma that they all wanted Jyoti's happiness, not necessarily that they wanted her to return to Pankaj. Padma disagrees w/ Jyoti's decision (maybe, but it's Jyoti's decision, not yours) She asks what she will tell Pankaj? (Has he paid you off - how is he your responsibility? I can understand you putting Sushma, Deepu & Poonam above Jyoti, but Pankaj? What's wrong w/ you?) She points out that he's the father of that kid.

KK explains that blood alone doesn't define a relationship (KK, for Padma, it does - haven't you noticed by now her relationship w/ Jyoti & Sudha, or are you as blind as Pankaj?) He asks by what right is Pankaj claiming Jyoti's kid? He asks Padma that if she were in Jyoti's place, and kicked out and her kid maligned, would she return to him? He tells Padma that relationships are built on trust, and Pankaj trusts neither himself nor Jyoti. When Brij told Pankaj that Jyoti was characterless, he accepted it, and when Brij told him that she was innocent, he accepted that as well. In future, if somebody else maligned Jyoti, he'd again throw Jyoti out of his house, and his life. He said that he cannot trust his daughter to anyone like that. Dadi says that he abandoned Jyoti and left her in deep waters, and it was only due to the grace of Ram-ji that she found firm land again and a fresh lease on life.

In Jyoti's ward, the nurse says that they've seen her reports, and that everything is fine w/ Jyoti 😕 Kabir is surprised, and tells them that for her to repeatedly get dizzy is abnormal. The nurse tells him that sometimes, it's due to various deficiencies, and right now, she's low on hemoglobin. She advises Kabir to take care of her. Kabir tells her that he's @ her service 24 hours (dude, don't you have a job? 😆) and thanks her. The nurse leaves. Kabir then asks Jyoti what's her command? She tells him that the mom has the same wishes as the baby, and suggests that he asks the baby, and assures him she won't come b/w dad & baby. Kabir asks the baby from a distance, and Jyoti then brings his ear next to her stomach so that he can hear it better. 😆 Kabir claims the kid wants ice cream 😆

Padma is admiring this from outside when her phone rings - you guessed it, Pankaj (who else? Incidentally, the display said 'Pankaj-je'. Not only is Padma moronic enough to append 'ji' to people's names on her cellphone, like Jyoti is, but she can't even spell 'ji' 🤣) Pankaj is livid @ her for re-awakening his fondness for Jyoti, (😆No wonder Padma is tense 🤣) and it was b'cos of that that he had planned to kick out Neelam and welcome back Jyoti. It was she who assured him that he'd get back his baby, and then, in an instant, she's telling him he wont, and that he should forget Jyoti just b'cos she's decided to marry Kabir? (Pankaj, be thankful Neelam hasn't yet signed that divorce) Pankaj tells Padma that he won't let it happen, b'cos he cannot live w/o his baby (okay, then don't!!! MN & Uday would do a better job of running the family anyway) He tells her that Jyoti's womb contains his blood, his baby - the Vashist family. Only the Vashist family's name can be attached to it. He won't let even the shadow of a Kabir Pratap Singh fall on it. Padma is worried hearing this.

One of the best episodes in the serial so far. The first scene was a beautiful Jyotir moment, in the temple, where they, for the first time, get to talk to each other freely, and Jyoti is finally secure enough to state that she's w/ Kabir. And I loved how Dadi & KK embraced Kabir - Dadi calling them Rama-Sita (okay, some hyperbole) and KK putting Jyoti's and Kabir's hands together.

I love Poonam everytime she puts her foot in her mouth and insults Padma, like referring to her decision to pressurize Jyoti as that of a step-mom. Poonam, if only you treated Jyoti like a normal bhabi treats a nanand. I just wish Poonam had been happy - w/ this move, Jyoti will be out of her house very soon. And I loved Dadi blocking Padma, and preventing her from doing any more damage, while KK did a fine job in explaining to Deepu how the relationships are formed in the heart, and that he should acquiesce. And he also explained to that cretin Padma how Pankaj was too unstable, and how any stranger in future could cause him to doubt Jyoti again, and put her life in turmoil again - something she doesn't deserve. I think that puts the kabash on the theory that Jyoti might end up w/ Pankaj

The only negative moment - I was afraid that Neelam would sign that paper, but fortunately, she stopped when she heard Pankaj on the phone again: I don't want Pankaj to be single, since that leaves him free to harass Jyoti. I want to see how Pankaj blocks this - this time, he won't even have CM's support (unless he wants to get the baby away from Jyotir) - and it'll be worth seeing what this undha can do on his own, since he so prides himself on being self dependent. I really wish Padma, who doesn't miss any chance to abuse Jyoti, could dress him down about his treatment of Jyoti, and his denial of that baby being his. Maybe tomorrow, she will. And I really want to see Pankaj go good on his threat. Only thing - if Pankaj had been this forceful w/ cm throughout his marriage w/ Jyoti, he'd still have had Jyoti, and his baby.

My only concern - Jyoti's fainting again - Kabir is right that this is happening too frequently, and the docs seem to be behind the curve in diagnosing it. I do hope Jyoti is okay, since now, I don't want anything tragic happening to her, since she's made the right decision.

Aside from that, looks like a custody battle b/w Pankaj & Jyoti will ensue. But I liked the last Padma vs Pankaj conversation - like Bhairavi vs Pankaj, this is a tough one to pick. But I picked Bhairavi against Pankaj, and I guess I could pick Padma over Pankaj. But would you? Poll above.

That day sushma was in the hospital yesterday kk got admitted and today jyoti now only deepu , poonam and dadi are remaining from the sharmas to get admitted I think this three drinks horlicks that is why they don't fall ill.😆

Jyoti from getting out of one marriage has got entered in to another…… CV's has nicely turned the story…… in this story jyoti herself has lost her identity.

Jyoti used to write article on naya pankh. I felt that she will be independent she will have her own identity what she had gone through in the past will get cleaned up but now the CV's had completely changed her character.

Great update for an equally great episode Loved the Jyotir scenes and want more of them before Pankaj comes and ruins everything

Just hope he doesn't ruin Jyotir relationship

No no please, we don't want another of Pankaj's desperate attempts to ruin Jyoti's image in the society

And all he deserves is to live alone, all he's thinking about is his baby and wants to get it at all costs
He doesn't care about Jyoti or Neelam, or even CM
So its better Neelam leaves him with a huge alimony
CM gets annoyed and leaves him too
MN&G are nowhere to be heard of
And so are Sudha-Uday
And Jyoti is with Kabir

So I think Neelam should've signed the papers, get a good alimony and live happily with or without Gautam
Leaving Pankaj alone so that he can brood well and probably resume his social service in Shishu Mangal
That'd conk some sense back into his head and he may become the old Pankaj again (which I really miss)
and who knows? may find another Jyoti there 😉

Really happy that Jyoti accepted Kabir! I have been waiting for this for so long!

Pankaj is a loser and doesn't care about anyone but his baby - he doesn't love Jyoti. He just wants the baby she is carrying. Kabir is going to be a much better father!

How come no one told Sushma the good news yet?

I disagree w/ Nikkie. Had Neelam done that, Pankaj would be free to go after Jyoti. As of now, he can't. I don't want him to be able to do that until Jyoti is safely married. Once she is, then Neelam would get the upper hand, since Pankaj would need to be married if he is to take on Jyoti in a custody battle over a baby.

Another thing - today, KK managed to sell Deepu on Kabir. I really wish someone - maybe Deepu or Sushma - would sell Kabir to St Brij, who in any case owes him so much. I don't want St Brij to make Pankaj's case any more. He's done enough damage as it is.

Whatever KK said about Pankaj in today's show to Padma is so true. One cannot believe a jerk like pankaj I am so glad that Jyoti choose Kabir. Pankaj changes his mind like a force of wind and he believes whatever other said. Pankaj believe Brij and his ditry alligation easily over Jyoti. Thanks to Brij he again believes Jyoti was pure and regrets his behavior and wants to accept the baby.

I think he will fight for his baby claiming the baby is hisblood and I am sure he will again prove at the court that Jyoti is unfit mother and will gain the custody of the child either by hook or crook.

I know I'm going to sound mean, but I really don't care for the baby - it can end up w/ Neelam, for all I care. I do think that while Kabir has wholeheartedly accepted it, some of his family members may not like the bahu bringing in a baby along for the ride. Plus, when Jyoti has Kabir's kids - which is bound to happen - they could, possibly, not like their half sibling (sorta like Dhaniya in Devi, which I've just started watching, although Dhanya is Lakshmi's own sister)

I think one solution is for Jyoti to meet CM & Neelam, and offer her baby to Neelam, regardless of whether Pankaj keeps her or not. That way, Pankaj gets the baby, and Neelam stays secure. I'm not suggesting this due to any sympathy for Pankaj or Neelam, but rather, I don't want Jyoti's new sasural to have any grievances about her bringing someone else's baby.
