Kabir knows the 'worst' thing that there is to know about Jyoti - that she's pregnant w/ Pankaj's baby. Planning to be engaged to Brij b4 she met Pankaj is nowhere near as damaging, even if Pankaj may think it worth ending the marriage over. Plus he probably knows everything from Brij already - he couldn't have tried to re-unite him w/ Sushma based on such flimsy information.

Good point about the ER. The thing that got me, though, was Jyoti entering a room w/o a doc's permission - I was under the impression that as long as one is in an ICU, others aside from hospital staff ain't allowed to go in.

Now that you mention it, I noticed that. But I wasn't happy @ all w/ him tapping her shoulder. Remember that when Brij did that while coming on to her, she slapped him? She needn't have done that, but she ought to have reminded him that he's married and has no right to touch her, even if she happens to be carrying his baby.
I'm glad she refused to take Pankaj w/ her - the last thing she needs is to be tortured by Bhairavi later. Besides, I didn't like her offering to call Pankaj and fill him in later - let Pankaj take the trouble of trying to contact Kabir himself whenever the latter is back in action. And Jyoti too doesn't have the right to do anything for him since he's re-married, and now, w/ her mind on Kabir, this task would be that much more easier.
