🤣vrisha u made me laugh so much with u'r comments over jyoti going to goddess n labeling it bhashan n all u really made this dragged filler episode very humourous i always hv good laugh over u'r comments n yes u shud be paid for it

The same thought occurred to me as well. If all Brij wants is one opportunity to apologize, why not do one of 2 things to see that the message gets across, w/o causing further panic in the Sharma family:

Call the Sharmas on the land phone - not Sushma's cell# - and tell them that he just wants to apologize to Sushma and that's it. If they have speakerphone, turn it on so that everyone can hear, while he and only he does all the talking. Tell Sushma that he was responsible for everything he did to both her and Jyoti, and that he's decided to pay the price for it, but that before he leaves, he wants to apologize to her. Tell her that he's not doing this to get her back, since she's trusted him many times and doesn't deserve to undo whatever progress she's made to date. Tell her that he wishes her and their baby well from this point on, and that from this day, he will not be bothering her ever, and she should feel no fear whenever she goes anywhere.
Write a letter to Sushma, asking Kabir to deliver it and personally ensure that Sushma reads it aloud in front of everybody, or or better yet, that Kabir reads it. Essentially, say the same things mentioned in (1) above, and spell out all the crimes he did against Sushma and Jyoti, including pimping Sushma to Thakkar, and trying to hit on Jyoti, as well as how he behaved w/ her while her guest in Pankaj's house. Maybe even have a part of the letter, or a separate one, addressed to Jyoti as well. In it, admit what Bhairavi had him do, and what he has lately been doing to Bhairavi. Apologize to Jyoti for cheating on her w/ different girls, including Sushma, and apologize to Sushma for cheating on her w/ diffferent girls, including attempting to cheat on her w/ Jyoti. Release Sushma from any marriage obligations and tell her to feel free to remove her mangal-sutra, sindur and re-marry whenever she gets a guy who really loves her. And at the end of it all, mention to Jyoti and Sushma that he's done this just to bring closure to this chapter of all their lives, and that no further action of any type is needed on their part.

I think Brij would be okay w/ whatever happened to him - if he could afford his own treatment and survive, he could then start making amends. Incidentally, did he get rid of Sushma's pimp money, or Bharavi's blackmail money? If it was just the former, well done, but if it was the latter, I don't agree w/ it. For 6 months, he won't be able to get a job, since he has a criminal record. After that, even if he tells a shop that he's not been doing anything, but that suddenly he needs money, he has a better chance of getting something. During that time, he should live on Bhairavi's money, and keep blackmailing her if he runs out during that window. Once that's over, stop blackmailing her, but to keep the 'honor' (for want of a better term) of his commitment in return for all those payments, do not tell Pankaj about what she did. But do tell Jyoti, by all means, and let her decide what to do w/ that info.

If he dies, everyone's problem is solved. If he lives, then he can start turning things around. Return Sushma that necklace of her masi that Padma robbed from KK for her, and also if he can, pay her back whatever money he can, but tell her that it's not from the money he made by pimping her. She'd probably refuse it, but make the gesture.

On Jyoti quitting, I don't blame her. If Kabir is going to abuse their proximity and their friendship by trying to force-feed Brij down their throats, Jyoti is doing the right thing. Just as Jyoti isn't pimping herself to earn money for her family, similarly, she doesn't owe it to her family to take a job that is dangerous for them all. This fault is sorely Kabir's - I suddenly hate that @$$🤬 for suddenly taking up this cause and trying to force this on them. The by-product of her decision will be that now, both Deepu & Jyoti will be out of a job (aside from Jyoti's Naya Pankh column, assuming that she still remembers it) and Poonam, Deepu and Padma can then determine how they like it now that Jyoti no longer has a job w/ which to dictate how that household should be run.

As for the jodi, I've been for this Jyotir jodi from the day Kabir rescued Jyoti on her bike. But then again, @ the beginning, I was a fan of the Brij-Jyoti jodi as well. My support for jodis only lasts as long as both members are loyal to that combo, and acting honorably. Kabir has suddenly taken a turn for the worse, and until he ends that obsession w/ Brij, I'm on the naysayers team that approves of Jyoti snubbing him. Not that I ever want Jyoti to go back to Pankaj, or even Brij.

Also, Periwinkle, you took the words right out of my mouth - I called him St Brij, and you called him Sant Brijeshwar. 🤣🤣🤣

Vrisha when i read ur comments i too feel many times dat wow u stole the exact words out of my mouth!! ;-) :-D

I too am really cross with kabir but im still rooting for him...something similar had happened with brij n pankaj too but this time its an obsession! (Quite visible from the fact that i juss cant stop coming to this forum n discussing something everyday :-P :-P)

Well i hope dat kabir finds out dat brij is trying to reconcile Jyoti n pankaj...dat ways there will be a benefit..kabir will stop being obsessed with helping brij and Jyoti n kabir wont fight!!

I agree with A Gulf...Jyoti never took such a harsh stand of cutting off all ties with pankaj because of whom her kid got the tag of being illegitimate n she characterless..there she cries for pankaj,wishes a happily married life for him n prays for him on his b'day...n kabir though is grossly wrong, is atleast much much better off than pankaj but Jyoti metes him out a big punishment! :@ :@

TB isn't water bore disease. It happens to people who don't get nutritious food and live in unhygienic conditions. In this case Brij is alcoholic. His immune system might have gone weak. But why he didn't get kidney failure or liver problem. It's really common among people who drink excessively. These serialwalas don't care to put logic in character's ailments. 😆
