April 27, 2010 Written Update
Sudha tells Pankaj that it isn't Jyoti and he tells her he knows Jyoti called to check if he's still as depressed as her. He tells Sudha to tell Jyoti that he's very happy without her. Jyoti is left shocked. Later in his room, Pankaj reminisces of the day's events and Neelam's words about his blindness. He thinks of how Jyoti never made him realize the fact that he was blind. Meanwhile, Kabir is outside and he gets ice cream, but thinking of Jyoti then gives it away to some random kid walking by. (really strange scene... do people really take ice cream from random strangers?đ) He thinks to himself that now Jyoti has become part of him.
At Jyoti's house, she opens the door to find a girl standing with a bunch of gifts asking if this is Poonam's house. Poonam recognizes her as her friend Rohini and welcomes her in. Rohini looks around the house, seemingly disgusted. She explains to Poonam how she's on vacation from Dubai and her father gave her this address. She tells Poonam she can't believe she's staying here now. Poonam introduces the family members, including Sandeep, who Rohini examines head-to-toe seeming unimpressed. When asked about his job, Deepu says he's unemployed. Rohini takes out gifts for Poonam and Padma asks if they are expensive. (wow, that was a stupid question... it was like Padma just wanted to get some more insults thrown her way) Rohini says yes, and that Poonam always used these in college. Poonam tells her she'll make tea for her, but Rohini refuses, saying she drinks green tea only. She then leaves, with a side comment to Poonam saying she feels sorry that she has been reduced to this. (this whole scene was so unneccessary, its like they wanted to give Deepu another reason to decide to take Mahesh's offer. either that or the creatives just were bored and thought it'd be fun to see the sharmas get insulted againđ) Later, Poonam is crying in her room and Deepu comes there saying this marriage was a mistake. Poonam tells him all will be better if he takes her dad's job and hugs him. In the kitchen, Padma and Dadi comment on how rude Rohini was... and Dadi tells her that she really isn't all that different from Poonam herself.
Sushma is walking along the road, in thoughts. She comes across a park and cries thinking that she'll have to give her child away. (i hope she doesn't change her mind later) She sees a child crying, hurt and buys him an ice cream. (again another random scene where kids take things from strangers... they are sending a WRONG message!) His mom comes along and thanks Sushma. Later a cop is strolling by the park at night and sees Sushma lying asleep. He wakes her up, saying that falling asleep randomly is common during pregnancy, and she should go back home as her husband would be worried. (another weird scene... why is she still at the park?đ)
At Brij's house, he is busy drinking with a woman in his arms telling him how much she's missed him while he was in jail. There's a knock, and when she answers it, the man outside sarcastically tells her he now knows why she's been gone. She tells him to be quiet, as Brij is very rich. (that was the most hilarious scene of the episodeđ¤Ł)She closes the door to see a fuming Brij behind her who screams at her for cheating him. She tells him he's not much better himself, esp after doing such terrible things to his pregnant wife. The girl tells him she heard all this from the night before when he was drunk. (so this was yet another unneeded scene just to remind Brij to bother Sushma again)
At Jyoti's house, all are worried about Sushma who is not home yet and she isn't picking her phone up either. (funny how Padma is worried about Sushma and not thinking she's with some guy like she thought with Jyoti... double standards!) Outside, Sushma is walking when a truck is approaching from behind. Kabir, who is passing by screams out to alert her. Sushma looks behind her and is stunned. End.
