I just loved Kabir's retort to Deepu. His initial reaction of how he might have reacted the same way had he been her bro was rather lame - I mean, Jyoti doesn't have a right to determine who she goes out w/, even assuming that that actually was the case? But when he told Deepu that he was crossing the limit, and insulting not Kabir but Jyoti, the look on Jyoti's face said it all - that she agreed w/ him. And after Kabir left, why did she feel the need to explain anything to Deepu, who's not only younger, but is not even an earning member anymore. If Padma or Dadi wanted to know, it's one thing, but Deepu? When Deepu handed her the tickets, why did she not demand to know how he dared spy on her? And I'm sick of these crying scenes of Jyoti breaking down, and the way she tries to convince Poonam that she'll explain things to Deepu. Even though I disagree w/ Poonam, I do laud her for keeping Jyoti away from him - last thing I want to see is Deepu get an explanation.

How is it that Poonam's parents - both Prabha & Mahesh-ji recognize Jyoti quite well, but Poonam can't? And this girl, whose friends are still on playstations, is that hung up on what society @ large thinks? It would have been more credible had her attitude in all this been 'of course, Jyoti is seeing Kabir, but what's the big deal? She's now divorced, and if Pankaj can re-marry, why can't Jyoti date?' Now something like this would have been more helpful to Padma's case than Jyoti's, since it would be vindicating Padma's suspision that others think that Jyoti is flirting around, but it would also have looked like Poonam is taking a more modern outlook, rather than those gossipmongers. Instead, they're making her character less realistic by making her look like a teeny bopper in most scenes, while making her look like the neighbor next door in all the others.

And KK continues in his wuss mode - absolute silence when Deepu is talking, and offers to hug Jyoti when Kabir is gone. Hey, why not speak up for her in front of everybody, while Kabir was still there? If you trust Kabir w/ Jyoti, why not say so right in front of him?

I liked the scene @ the beginning, where he explains the diyas by saying that Jyoti was the first thing that came to mind, and that when he lit the diyas, he gets jyoti from them. Jyoti smiled @ this, and it looked cute.

Jyoti tells Kabir that from now on, they can only have a work as colleagues, nothing more. Kabir is disappointed & leaves the room 😭😭😡

i agree vrisha..poonam would ahve been lot more in sync wid her character had she behaved in a modern and open-minded manner instead of adding fuel to the fire..and KK is one complete spineless wimp..tht character cud have had so much weightage as a mentor to jyoti bt all he does is sit and moan abt fate and society and God and Padma and yadda yadda...and kabir was fabulous..its ironical how outsiders in the show have always understood jyoti a lot better than her family members..whether kalpana or pankaj (at one point of time) or mamaji from shishu mangal or kabir now..

yesterday i felt so bad about jyoti when poonam starts pointing at her that it is her mistake and that she is also allowing kabir to come closer to her.i just felt to give two tight slaps to poonam she was so ridiculous yesterday.
few episodes back dadis dialogue was awesome she said that jyoti was the person who made deepu free from all bad habits otherwise he would have fallen prey to those bad habits how can she forget all this.😡

thanks for a wondeful update.Yes I do not understnd why they are showing week and helpless Jyoti.She should have given Poonam two tight slap s telling her to mind her own business.
