Written Update: 9th April

I somewhat liked the bhashan KK gave Mahesh-ji, although as usual, he's too emotional and can't even talk to another guy in a guy to guy talk. At least in future, when Poonam calls up her papa, he can tell her to go to Deepu for what she needs. It was a little disingenuous of him to first make the offer to just Poonam, then Poonam & Deepu, and then the entire family. Also, Poonam will think 10 times b4 she calls him up again.

Poonam discovering Sushma's meds was interesting, and she hit on the right questions, but went the wrong way by insisting that Sushma reimburse Deepu all his advances. But Sushma is clearly affording all this thanks to Sarika, but is lying out of her skin. To an extent I don't blame her - if she were to be open about this, I can see her mahaan sister dissuading her from taking any money from Sarika, and instead she taking on the burden herself. So it's good that Sushma has an independent cash stream of her own, until she hands over her baby. Incidentally, has Bhairavi been paid off in full?

Like others pointed out in this thread, it is rich for either Padma, who's a second wife, or CM, who just married off Jyoti's ex-hubby, to complain either about Jyoti being well dressed, or her being in the company of Kabir.

Padma, what do you expect - Jyoti to be all dressed in a white sari and moping about the house barefoot & pregnant, or going to dance class, doing her lessons and just coming home w/ the cash to blow on Poonam's latest fads? And Padma, mind your own business and stop butting into Jyoti's 'love'-life, assuming that that's what it is. Incidentally, why doesn't KK just divorce this creep? Just b'cos he doesn't have crores like Bhairavi to give her, which he knows she'll ask if he does?

And Bhairavi - if Pankaj can marry < a week after his divorce, how is Jyoti indecent for being in the company of another guy? What do you expect her to do - self-immolate? 😡

I am not liking this show anymore. These things which they are showing against Jyoti are a bit tooo much. I mean y do everyone expect a woman to mourn and cry always??They feel happy when she sheds tears. Plz bring some thign sensible in this show. N as for Padma, I m sure once she knws that Kabir is a rich person, she won't mind Jyoti dating him!!! 😡

No, once she finds that Kabir is rich, she will try to hook Sushma up with him.

Padma supported only one alliance with a happy smile ... that of Sushma and Brij. Everything else was like...girls in our family do not do things like this. :(

I dislike this serial too, but will continue to follow it :) It is addictive I guess!

poor jyoti now it is time to answer her stepmother but I am sure she will handle this problem .If i were jyoti I leave this mad house and go somewhere to have peace and rest .In this situation Padma will uderstand she lost her Golden Egg Hen and without jyoti nobody in this family can do what she do .Padma never well wisher of jyoti and always blames her when something wrong happened .

Exactly my worrds 2.This show is becoming a torture to my eyes, earsand little brain.

padma really needs to get a life of her own instead of just sitting on jyoti's head and abusing her...

yeah quite right. the guy can marry after getting divorced n the girl gets taunted for being in the company of another guy. Wow, Indian society........always man dominated.

First off, I dont think what Sushma is doing is wrong. She's a young girl from a poor family. How are they ever going to be able to bring up Sushma's child properly? Giving the child away to someone like Sarika, who can obviously give the child a better life, would only be in the child's best interests. I think its about time Sushma thinks about confiding in someone about what she's planning. Obviously most of her family would hang her themselves if they found what what she's up to, but I dont think Poonam would object, even if it was for her own purposes. If Sushma took Poonam into confidence, it would be easier for her to keep this secret, since there would always be someone to cover for her.

All of this makes perfect sense, except that given the level of trust that Sushma has in Poonam, it's probably a bit too much to expect, and I don't blame her. After all, if I were Sushma, and saw how Poonam had totally won over Padma to the extent of Padma always picking Poonam over Sushma, I too would not trust Poonam to keep my secrets from Padma. And as you point out, none of the Sharmas are going to look at this decision of Sushma's rationally.

But at some point, Sushma is going to have to come clean on what she's up to, and the question is when? What's she going to do - on the day of her delivery, make an unscheduled trip to the hospital, call up Sarika, give birth, hand over the baby and after all the paperwork, just go home? And expect nobody to notice that she's no longer pregnant? Rather than that, why not just confide in people, one by one, what she is up to? Start w/ KK, who is the least likely to object absent any inputs from Dadi or Padma, and then Deepu, Poonam and finally Jyoti, Dadi & Padma. That way, she is most likely to have things her way. The only weapon they can use against her is threaten to kick her out of the house, but that only KK can do, and he won't if this is explained to him. And even if Jyoti disagrees w/ it, she won't ask for Sushma to be kicked out.

I agree that Sushma is making the best decision for her baby. Jyoti would do well to follow suit.
