Should Deepu accept the job offer from Poonam's dad's colleague?

One thing I noted in my post on the Discussions thread yesterday is that Mahesh-ji & Poonam have no reason to be upset @ this, since this makes Deepu available to take this other job (first post on pg 1). Somehow, I don't think he's as conspiratorial as, say, Neelam's parents, but now that you mention it, his reaction did look strange.

Unlike Poonam, he doesn't have any animousity towards Jyoti - he's probably pretty thankful to her for everything she did to enable Poonam's marriage to take place. But if Deepu ends up taking the job he wants him to take, Poonam should lose her anger @ Jyoti, particularly when she knows how that'll rile her sasur-ji. Also, Padma will love her even more for getting Deepu such a high profile job, even though Deepu himself will resent it.

Notice his face during the time when those guys were gossiping about Jyoti, and when Deepu was getting fired. He seemed to be just watching, rather that doing anything about it when his son-in-law was just getting fired. Its possible he made a deal with Deepu's boss to get him into such a situation, so that he reacts, and thus an excuse to fire him. Thats also maybe why the other worker wasn't fired.

oohh..interesting thought kruttika..possibility..is everyone in the show a mannipulative creature except our mahaan lead lady?

But he has experience , so he can get job anywhere else..........if tried..He can use job portals like Naukri .com or monster .com.....He can go to some consultancy too...Poonam's father is also there to help him

Several men blame their wives for all the trouble in their lives that is usually the result of their own actions..silly but really true..
It frees their conscience and it is wholeheartedly approved by society.

For someone who is now giving a baashan about "siddhanth not suitable for life", where did this thinking go when Poonam's dad asked him to take his friend's job offer. HA HA HA..

This occasion deserves a party... I least bother whether a member belongs to Jyoti's family or not..whoever is against Jyoti or her principles should be treated really badly...😆 😆

If Poonam is well educated, why cant she do some job... let's see if she manages to go to work and come back home without having to talk a single word to a man on the way or at work.. What do the ppl in the Sharma family think about the job market anyway?

Oooh dont talk to boys ooohh oooh... dont go out with them...oooohh ooohh.. how very kindergarten of the Sharmas... 😆 If they are so much worried about it now, where went the concern when Sushma who is not even 18 eloped with Brij and also is carrying a baby at this tender age...she is mahaan, alright 😆 😆

^^^^ I prefer Jyoti leave to Deepu leaving. Padma will make everyone's life hell if she loses her ladli Poonam.

But the job offer Deepu had - is it not still available? If he takes it, things can go on as normal. If it helps him, think of Jyoti as his step-sister, like Padma & Poonam do, and Sushma not too long ago did, and ignore any insults that go her way. Just abstain from rejoicing when she's the toast of the town.
