^^^^It already has, w/ Padma demanding the AC for Poonam. What irked me was Padma asking Jyoti to get Poonam's sari right when the puja was about to start, knowing that Jyoti wouldn't get to attend the wedding either. I was disappointed that she wasn't there to experience Sushma's embarrassment - something which was purely her doing, or else, Sushma wouldn't have asked for those kangans, and Sudha wouldn't have given it. The only good thing I see about Padma here is that she might love Poonam as much as she does Sushma, and I certainly don't want Poonam to be treated the way Jyoti & Sudha have been by her.

On what Sudha should have done vis a vis CM, it's well known that not only she, but even Uday didn't dare oppose CM's decision to deny them permission unless Jyoti was excluded. Which is why what I was suggesting for Sudha was the other alternative - since she can't oppose CM, she can however oppose Jyoti, and tell her flatly that there is no way she's going, so that Jyoti's offer to not attend won't make any difference. Had Sudha stated this and stuck to her guns, even a moron like Jyoti wouldn't have sat out the wedding for the sake of Bhairavi & Minal to attend.

The gath bandhan - any of the sisters could have tied it, but the reason Jyoti was favored by the Trivedis for this was that she had put this all together. Otherwise, they'd have gone w/ Sushma being Deepu's own sis, vs step sis.
