Have you ever heard what comes around, goes around? Well, maybe CM doesn't realize that because she is treating Jyoti in this way, Mrinal is suffering Jyoti's fate? CM is the reason that Mrinal is not allowed to return to her inlaws. If she stops her actions towards Jyoti, then Mrinal will also be saved ...

That is a real nice way to put it. Lets hope Minal gets her divorce notice next. I would LOVE to watch that episode.

This is exactly what I mean ... Mrinal will have to suffer for what she and her mother are doing to Jyoti ...
I was always taught that if you do something to others, that same thing will happen to you - and I have seen this happen in real life where people treat another badly, and then a daughter, sister, brother, son is treated the same way by someone else.
We used to tell mothers in laws not to treat their DIL badly or else they would cause their own daughter to be ill-treated in the in-laws house ...
now it's happening here ...

I like the karmaic explanation, but I think there is a more logical explanation to that. Had CM not gone ahead w/ the proposal w/o finding out from Uday first, and had she accepted Sudha from day 1, Neelam wouldn't have gone thru this grief, and Kesav-ji wouldn't have expelled Minal. I guess that it was CM who asked him to find a rishta for Uday, totally ignoring his wishes, and so when it ends up damaging Neelam, Minal has to pay the price.

Normally I'd sympathize w/ Minal, but given that this is the result of CM's machinitions, I'd say it's well deserved.
