We had a discussion on some of the pros & cons of the Sharmas accepting an alimony here

The Vashisht family insulted Jyoti so much Specially CM .She should clear her name .If Pankaj dose 'nt want to live with jyoti again at least she should do something against CHOTTI MAA .How much I hate her she is the only one did'nt accept Jyoti and all the time she was Jealous of her all the time she insulted her and never sees anything good in her .She is selfish arrogant and ... .If I were jyoti I would not accept Divorce without challenge because Jyoti have to Prove to every one that the baby is Pankaj's and in case of divorce she should accept the Alimony for her child.

I think she should accept the divorce and alimony but not before proving to everyone that the baby is Pankaj's, by a DNA test.

If this article is anything to go by, looks like they will. Of course, that doesn't prevent them from reconciling later, if they have such regrets, provided Pankaj doesn't marry Neelam or anyone else.

A promo they showed yesterday had Jyoti, in the form of a PSA, telling viewers that she never dreamt that her marriage would be ended by a piece of paper, and asking viewers what they could do if in this situation? But they've probably decided to show Jyoti emerging strong despite a broken marriage.

One thing I hope they don't do is showing her raise her baby singly - that's never a good situation for a baby, and Jyoti can simply never be a father, no matter how much she wants to or tries.
