I posted a short update after watching the 11:30PM re-run, since the YouTube uploads weren't up. It's therefore different from my other updates to date. But this episode was worth watching.
Part 1
Jyoti tells Pankaj the entire story of her history w/ Brij, and details of Brij, Sushma and herself. She describes how she has another sister named Sushma, how that Sushma was married to Brij, and how she herself once was an item w/ Brij. She goes into the entire history of how she met Brij, how he'd court her, how Sushma came into his radar, how he married Sushma, how Jyoti found out that Sushma was her step sister, the circumstances under which Jyoti married Pankaj, her discovery of Sushma dancing in bars, how Sushma was a maid in their place on Diwali, how CM & Minal were told that Sushma was their maid and how they had to put up that act ever since, and how Brij was trying to milk that for all it was worth. She hopes that Pankaj would recognize the situation she was in and support her.
Pankaj is outraged at this betrayal and the fact that for a year, he was fed a mountain of lies by Jyoti & her family. He storms out of there, and takes the car and asks the driver to leave, w/o taking Jyoti. Jyoti runs after the car, but it goes away, leaving her behind. On the way, Jyoti's words ring in Pankaj's ears, and he asks the driver to take him to.... (turns out later to be the Sharma home)
Part 2
Deepu arrives home, and they start discussing the new proposal that Baby Mausi has brought. Deepu is concerned that the reason these people are interested is more to establish a bridge w/ the Vashisths, rather than anything to do w/ him. KK suggests that they meet them and determine to what extent they are interested in Deepu for Deepu's sake.
Pankaj arrives and Sushma opens the door. Pankaj asks them to be truthful w/ any questions he has, and the Sharmas are surprised by this request. He asks them who just opened the door, and they say Sushma. He demands to know who she is, and where her family lives and all that. The Sharmas are stumped for an answer.
Part 3
Pankaj keeps up the pressure, and finally demands to know why they are supressing it when Jyoti herself has told him everything. After a few moments of shocked silence, KK admits that Sushma is the youngest daughter of the family. Pankaj then asks whether she married Brij, and whether Jyoti was at any time engaged to Brij. KK asks him what's the use of asking these questions now, since they are past, and Pankaj tells him that like truth, falsehood never dies. KK concedes that, and tells him that Sushma was married to Brij. Pankaj then demands to know whether Jyoti was ever happy w/ her engagement to Brij, and overrides their attempts to explain that she had no idea of what a cheat Brij was. Finally, the episode ends on Pankaj's questions, w/o the Sharmas giving an answer.
Precap
In front of Uday & Sudha, Pankaj demands from Jyoti to know in what way was he inadequate, and why the sudden urge to tell the truth now? Jyoti tells him that when she saw that Brij is trying to do damage to her sasural the same way she did w/ her maakya, she couldn't keep quiet, and that she'd do anything to save them.
Brij enters the room, saying 'Wah!!!'

Jyoti has a puja thali in front of Pankaj, probably for the anniversary occasion, but Pankaj is still furious at her and knocks it off her hands, shocking her. He then pushes her, and asks her to leave the house immediately.
This then would be the kicking out episode. So for Jyoti, 2009 would end w/ her being kicked out of her sasural.

Pankaj was right, but there was one thing of his that I disagree w/, seeing both the episode and the precap. He is mad at Jyoti for having a relationship before she met him. How lame!!!! If he wanted a girl for whom he was the first love, he should have remembered it and asked Jyoti that upfront before proposing to her, instead of getting upset at it today.
Pankaj had right reasons and wrong reasons to be upset. The right reason was being at the receiving end of an elaborate deception not only from Jyoti, but her entire family, and thereby being subject to such inexplicable behavior from Jyoti that he was at a loss to defend it to CM or others. Pankaj could have pointed out that the family knew that Sudha had her problems, and they were even more supportive of her than Sudha's own family - putting her up in their home when Padma refused to take her. But being upset at Jyoti being okay w/ marrying Brij before she even met Pankaj is a ridiculous reason.
As a result, what could be a justified decision - kicking Jyoti out because of the deceptive behavior of herself and her family - now looks at least partly unjustified - Jyoti having a love before she met Pankaj.
