Today, after a long time, I got to catch this @ 8:30 itself, and I was thrilled w/ Uday - alcohol was like truth serum for him, and he blurted out what CM had been suppressing - that Jyoti was not loved or respected in that house. I felt somewhat bad for MN&G, since truth is that these 2, Uday, Pankaj & Pratik do love and respect Jyoti, the only ones who don't are CM and more recently Minal. But I just loved seeing CM humiliated in front of Sandeep & Sushma, and get so pissed that she drove them out. I hate this facade that the Vashisths are putting on that Jyoti is respected, when they do nothing to rein in CM. CM did yell @ Pankaj that it was Uday who said yes to this, but nonetheless, I loved the spectacle of her being humiliated. I'd love it even more when she has to be the one to explain to Uday's would-not-be in-laws that Uday married another girl before being engaged to theirs 🤣🤣🤣 - by no means should Jyoti do this task.

Uday tells her that his friends advised him to take alcohol to forget everything, which is what he did. Methinks this will be what makes Sudha agree to marry Uday the next time he asks. She knows that he'll be taking to alcohol and possibly making the wife's life really miserable, and so she'll probably decide to sacrifice herself even if it means having to live w/ CM as MIL. So when Uday does ask her to marry him, she'll recall what he was doing when he was sure he wont be getting her, and decide to take the plunge

Jyoti has this magic phrase 'everything will be okay' even though she doesn't have the guts to face down CM like Devika does, and doesn't have a clue of how to sort things. Sudha's offer to get admitted to a mental ward was a good one from the POV of Jyoti's interests here, but she let that slide. KK mentioned that it was really w/ Uday that Sudha was recovering, and that this news had sent Sudha into relapse.

The funny or sad thing here, depending on how one looks at it, is that now that Sandeep & Sushma know what Jyoti's family really is, since they probably believe Uday, far from wanting Sudha to go there, they'd probably want Jyoti to be extracited from there, like Sushma was from Brij. But far from that, they'll end up seeing Sudha wind up as the next bahu of that very place.

Tomorrow, Uday will find out about Sudha's relapse into Devika, and decide to marry her. I think tomorrow's episode will end with Jyoti just arriving at the place, and Thursday, CM blaming Jyoti for their eloping. I'm disappointed that MN&G wont be more supportive.

I really hope CM leaves the place after the humiliation she'll undoubtedly receive from the Kota people as well as Minal's nosey sasural.
