Jyoti has a flashback of Brij trying to touch her and she pushes pankaj's hands away. He assumes it is because of her not being sure of because of his blindness and says he never noticed how it affected others because he has never been in a relationship where one life affected another. Jyoti says that isnt the case but he interrupts and says that it is ok and that he will wait for her because a marraige is not about being physical but the joining of two spirits. He then goes and lies on the bed and she does the same. She remembers brij asking her why they have to wait for the physical part since the wedding will be in 3 years and then remembers pankaj saying that he can wait because their bond is spiritual.
deepu is helping kk to bed who refuses his medicine and says he wants to live his life independently and wants to do thigs himself because his handicap is the reason everyone is seeing these moments. He says padma is trying to destroy his mind. deepu tries to get him to take the medicine but he refuses saying he doesnt have the will to live.
uday tosses and turns in bed as he sees devika and sudha. He finally sits up and wonders how two people can have such a similar face and then decides that it is possible. he says they are so different from each other and then wonders why he keeps on seeing sudha's face. He lies back and then closes his eyes only to see sudha again.
sudha is smiling while sitting up in bed thinking of jyoti. She is praying for her happiness when she hears uday say devika and then goes from being devika to sudha to devika to sudha over and over as she hears uday say devika and then hears him say that there is a secret behind sudha's innocence. She runs and closes the window and remains sudha. She wonders why she is seeing uday. She lies down in bed and remembers telling jyoti that their home needs another jyoti.
in the morning, kk stares out the window and sees jyoti's scooter. He hears her voice telling him to exercise but turns to see no one there. Sudha arrives and says he needs to exercise and he asks her how she is awake so early. she says she remembered what the doctor said and they leave.
Deepu and dadi watch this and deepu wonders how she woke up so early. dadi is thanking god that sudha is becoming smart and following jyoti's footsteps.
jyoti wakes up to see pankaj drinking tea. she apologizes for getting up late and he insists on makeing her tea sying her mehendi hasnt come off yet and she cant owrk until it does. She says she will drink it after brushing her teeth but he insists on her having it. She tries but says she cant and leaves.
Jyoti stands in front of the mirror getting ready and tells pankaj that she will be done in a few minutes. he tells her to put on a kala teeka as he is sure she looks beautiful. She smiles and he steps towards her making her walk back. He takes a pic of her with his camera to keep this beauty forever and thanks her. He walks away and then his sister walks in. She apologizes for not knocking but reminds him that choti ma wants everyone at breakfast at 9. she says she will come after she cleans up their room despite jyoti saying no using the mehendi excuse. Jyoti and pankaj leave and she sees that the flower pattern in the middle of the bed hasnt been disturbed. She thinks to herself that they both like each other so something must be up.
