Written Update- May 19th (Complete)

Kalpana's mom tells Jyoti there is nothing wrong with her kundli and anyone who knows anything about reading a kundli will be able to tell that there is nothing wrong with it. Jyoti says that her mother and family has been worrying for no reason.

Padma enters Sudha's room while Sudha is hiding behind a book. She scolds Sudha saying that her father is already hiding and now she is as well. She says that her sister and brother in law have come to their house, not her enemies. She tells her that if her pride will be hurt by sitting with them then Sudha should atleast help her in the kitchen.

Kalpana's mom tells Jyoti that her kundli is actually very good and asks who made her kundli since anyone who kows about kundli's should know that there is nothing wrong with her but Jyoti just says that it doesnt matter and taking her kundli says that she is going home. Kalpana stops her and asks why she isnt staying but Jyoti explains that she has to tell her mother the good news since her mother had been worried for so many days and kalpana agrees to let her go.

After she leaves Kalpana tells her mom that she is very happy because at least another problem has decreased for Jyoti and her mother agrees but says that when such a problem is in a kundli people go to many pandits so how is it possible that so many were wrong about the kundli. She also wonders how Padma didnt know that there was a mistake for so many years.

Padma tells Brij and Sushma that she couldnt make a lot for snacks as they have to eat dinner too and Sushma says she has made a lot and Brij thanks Padma. Padma tells him not to thank her as family members dont thank each other, Dadi and Sudha look angry and annoyed. Brij starts sweet talking her saying that seeing her love s great because since he doesnt work he cant take sushma anywhere and he feels like he is home. Padma says he is home and then he says that he misses his mother who only wanted to see her bahu and how she always said she would keep her bahu very happy. Padma tells them that she will be right back and leaves.

Jyoti is driving home and is very happy and then has flashbacks of Kalpana's mom saying that anyone who knows anything about Kundli's could not have made such a mistake.

Padma enters her room where Kamal is typing on the type writer and when he isnt looking she takes out jewelery from her closet and tries to walk out but Kamal stops her. He asks her what she has in her hand and she says a gold chain for Brij as she cannot let him leave the house without something as he has come for the first time. He asks what is in her other hand and she says the necklace her mother gave for her grandaughters. Kamal says for Jyoti but Padma says it was only jyoti because they thought she would get married first and as a responsible mother she cant let Sushma leave empty handed. Kamal says he has seen how well she has fulfilled her resposibilities as a mother and then tries to take the necklace from her hand saying that he wont let her take this away from Jyoti but she fights back saying everything is jyoti's it seems. He struggles with her and says that he doesnt want to argue but he wont let her take the necklace but she pulls her hand away from him. She says she has been a puppet ever since she got married but wont listen this time and he grabs her hand again but she wrestles it away from him and leaves.

Jyoti stops driving when she sees Baby mausi and another women and says hello. Baby mausi says hello and then says she is looking for someone for her and jyoti tells her not to look too hard as what will happen will happen. The woman next to mausi tells mausi what is point as Jyoti has so much pride as everything was fixed with her nephew by Jyoti rejected him because he wore glasses. She says jyoti is not so pretty that she can make such demands. Jyoti says that she has never said that about anyone and has only met 2 or 3 people and none of them wore glasses. Mausi tells her not to lie as she must have sent 25 rishtas for her and padma told her that Jyoti didnt like the boy because he had think glasses. Jyoti says that that cannot be true and so mausi says that padma must have lied but Jyoti says why would she. Mausi then says that despite Jyoti's behaviour she still looks for someone for her because she helped raise her. She also says that all the rishta families come back to her and tell her off and Padma must also be so embarrased. She tells Jyoti that her brother laughed everytime she brought up the topic of Jyoti's marraige and told her not to bother as Jyoti was picky and wanted someone perfect. Jyoti looks shocked to hear this and Mausi reminds her of her families situation and advises her as an elder to get married and leaves. Jyoti stands there shocked and remembers what kaplana's mom said and then remembers her mom on the phone saying that the only thing wrong with her daughter was her kundli. Jyoti looks shocked and then says Ma before looking shocked again.

Brij tells Sushma they have to leave soon as he has to leave early in the morning to find a job as the situation is bad these days. Dadi and Sudha look annoyed while Padma tells him not to worry before calling out to Deepu. She tells Deepu buy a cake and he tries to argue but she says that Sushma is his sister and wont live with them every again and has become a stranger at such a young age. He turns to look at Sushma who smiles and he takes the money and leaves. Padma then tells them to talk as she puts out dinner. Sushma says she will help but Padma says no Sudha will help her. She tells her to relax as this is her first trip home after being married and also she must be tired as she must work at home all day. Brij says he will sing dadi her favourite bhajan and padma tells him to sing loudly so she can hear. He starts singing, Dadi looks uninterested, Sushama smiles and so does Padma while Sudha looks annoyed. They show Jyoti driving home sad and flips between scenes at home and of Jyoti.

The song ends and the door bells rings. Padma wonders how Deepu is home so soon but Sudha tells her she will get the door. She opens the door and looks shocked to see Deepu holding out chocolate to her. She smiles and thanks him when he says it is her birthday present. She asks what he has in her hand and he calls out to sudha to get a knife and plate. She cuts her cake and feeds everyone. Sudha looks unhappy. Padma says that now that she is happy they also have to do it the desi way. She does Sushma and Brij's tilak and then says that you cannot do a damaad's tilak without giving him something and especially not the first time. She pulls out a gold chain and Brij says he cant take it but then accepts saying he will take it as her blessing and she puts in on him as Sudha and Deepu look distrubed. Brij thanks Padma and then she pulls out the necklace for Sushma who looks happy to see it and Brij looks greedy. Dadi looks shocked when she sees it along with Deepu and Sudha. Padma says that it is her mother's and that she wanted her granddaughter to have it. All of a sudden Sushma looks shocked and Padma turns and drop the necklace. Jyoti is standing at the door staring at them.

PREVIEW: Jyoti says padma didnt answer her the other day and asks Padma what happened with a certain rishta. Padma says she didnt want to get married but Jyoti interrupts her saying what she wants doesnt matter. Kamal just stares and Sushma who is wearing the necklace looks really angry.
