Well, I wanted to make this post for so long now, but didn't feel like doing it. We've all been debating on IP's character n there r few of us who sympathize with him. My perspective is different than most of us here and I would like to put it down, why I feel IP is no less than DB in many ways.
All we know abt IP-DB Love story is that it didn't start on a good note. 🤢 Shalu was a simple village girl who was happy in her world. IP an underworld don, bumped into Shalu...LUSTED for her. (I wud say 'Lust' n NOT 'Love' based on his behavior with Shalu at that time). IP forcibly picked up Shalu from her village to marry her...against Shalu's wish. She hated him initially n came to know he's involved in all illegal activities, but as fate wud've it..she fell in Love with IP. But IP's obsession, psychotic behavior n whipping broke Shalu's heart 💔 and made her life living hell..!! She decided to eliminate this IP guy n hatched a plan with Mishraji n Mishrain. It's another thing, how foolish that plan was n how stupidly it was executed...!! 🤢 IP is now gone from picture..!! And now here comes the ugly part...DB lusting for Prithvi.. 🤢 🤢 trying to make him look like her supposedly dead-husband IP...Why ? 😲 Nobody knows why..!! Then IP comes back from dead 😲...and then IP-Prithvi confusion arises. 😡 Now IP playing a game with Shalu and seeking revenge for his dead brother n murder attempt on him ? And How ? 😲 By inflicting more pain on the already tortured poor soul Prithvi 😕 n separating him from his family n Love 😲...Remember, IP is doing all this for teaching a good lesson to Shalu Pandey !! 😕 Shalu never seemed to have any brains 😡...and IP is trying to play brain games with Shalu n challengewa her ? 😲 Really ? 😲 Now for a change, he's not LUSTING for Meera yet he falls in LOVE n is yearning for True Love from someone else's wife ? 😳 How ? By trying to kill the husband n taking his place, for whatever reason it is. Ab poori Ravan katha sunne ke baad...yeh mat pooch na ki shoorpanakha, raavan ki kya lagti hai...???? 🤢 😃
Also I wud like to point out one movie "Anjaam" of SRK n Madhuri, where Madhuri kills SRK in the end. SRK makes Madhuri's life a living hell..killing anyone n everyone who comes in his way..The female lead goes thru a lot before she decides to kill him to seek revenge...and She does it in the End. Just becoz the female lead kills the guy, does it make her the bad person and this guy a victim ?? A BIG NO. Just becoz IP is now a changed man..which I highly doubt..does it make him a better person than Shalu. NO. Did Shalu deserve any of those whippings by IP..BIG NO. Nobody in this world deserves to be abused or whipped. PERIOD...And since many people hate DB for what she's doing today...still doesn't make them declare...'she deserved to be treated that way by IP then, becoz she has lusted for a married man now'. 😆 Did IP ever sincerely Love Shalu...that he's yearning for True Love now...??? BIG NO. If he's really yearning for True Love, he should regret for all his wrong doings n try to rectify them as much as he can..Not do the same wrong things and expect sympathy. NO. Does DB n IP deserve a second chance...YES but only if they mend their ways..!! DB's behavior today is no less than what IP used to be at one point. I wud say, DB today is what IP has made her to be n few of her wrong choices as well..!! If DB is lusting for a married man...IP is equally responsible for pushing her to be like that. If IP is in this mess n sorry state today..it's purely becoz of his selfishness, obsession n wrong choices in his life. So I've ZERO sympathy for both these characters...irrespective of who's playing those characters...even if it's bestest of the bestest in TV world today, it doesn't matter to me.
