Since shalu has forcibly and unwantedly found a way in our and mithvi's lives, it is time for retrospection.
I could make out that they wanted to show a strong, powerful, dominating female who would wreck havoc in mithvi's life.(assuming this was the basic idea and it is fine with me, since it is a daily soap )
I believe that this role requires some one with larger than life persona,who could scare all of us to death and make us dread what she will do to mithvi.The role required someone who could bring those god mother type nuances to life to make it interesting, mature enough to carry on with the underworld activities, experienced to tackle cops and definitely a fully confident seductress with oodles of attitude and definitely over confident.
Like we had Kalki( she was perfect) , or for this role I believe urvashi dholakia would have been best choice.(she was big boss winner) and if u see her work, u will know what I am talking about.
Current choice of shalu seems too young for handling all this and she falls flat in front of strong mithvi, if you want to bring someone against mighty mithvi ,she needs to have enough conviction to pull mithvi apart and terrorise us and mithvi and sadly I don't feel that kind of terror when i see her on screen.
She is just too young to pull of such a strong character.
This is not a bashing post for Sara and all are welcome to share their views and let's try to maintain a offence free discussion ( which I know is real hard) but I know we can do it.
