I have been trying to understand what kind of a mother Sudha really is? A mom is the one who feels her child's pain and suffering even with out being told. Forget about feeling Meera's pain and anguish, she does not even understand what her daughter wants. Cant she see Meera's agony, her suffering is so obvious and clearly visible, but this lady Sudha seems to be blind that she is unable to see anything. To top it all, she is still trying to convince Meera to marry Aakash.

I must applaud Ramdhari here, he being a man he can clearly understand his daughter's feelings, eventhough he has never raised Meera and had never been in touch with her all her life. Father-Daughter have this beautiful chemistry, where they dont need to express anything in words, they understand each other just by looking into each other's eyes. Like a true father he always supports his daughter and does not impose his decisions on her, where as its totally opposite with Sudha.

very well said phulwa ... she is either ignoring it to get her way of having Akash n Meera get married as was planned prior to Meera going to 12 gaon or she is willing to overlook it for the betterment as she sees of her daughter. As according to her the village marriage is no reason to be associated to prithvi.

She says she wants to see her as Akash bride and asking her to forget about the past . She doesnt even understand why Meera is not happy with the roka . She should allow her to choose and think about her happiness instead of being in denial that Meera is happy with Akash

It seems she can see her daughter's pain but is in denial for the greater good of Meera's future which she thinks is safe with Akash as she believes Meera will not be happy in village and Prithvi wont be the BEST husband like Akash

Sudha is a mother who doesn't want her darling daughter to make the same mistakes (as per her) as she did by marrying a goan ka chora Data Thakur was educated but he gave up on things for villagers happiness which made Sudha bolt from village with baby Meera . Sudha has the notion that Prithvi being a staunch villager, uneducated & lacking social skills is not a fit husband for her city bred daughter.

She's aware of Meera & Prithvi getting attracted to each other in spite of all the odds 😉 but she fears they won't be compatible in the long run & Meera might get separated like she was & suffer 😕 She sees Akash as the safe life partner who will give Meera materialistic & easy life 🤢 She's being the protective mother like she has been all Miu's life, i can understand her uneasiness regarding Prithvi. I hope she lets Meera make her own choice now & give Prithvi a chance to prove as a husband 😉

I won't go so far as to applaud Ramdhari, he's been an understanding father but hasn't given any reason yet why he had to marry Mithvi There are lot of questions he hasn't given answers & as a village sarpanch he's acting like a docile person 😕

Sudha is doing that which most parents do - protecting their children. Its highly applaudable but it does not make for a healthy citizen. Infact most of us do this at some point in time as parents, siblings, children and friends.

What is needed is to allow our ppl - children, siblings, parents, friends - to make their decisions and support them and be there when they need us. This is exactly what DT is doing. Yeh karna bahut mushkil hai becoz when we see someone close to us do something or take a decision that we think will impact their lives adversely we try to protect them which maybe needed at times but not always.

Sudha's main fear in the Prithvi - Meera relation is the fact that they are polar opposites. What she does not realise is that such a relation gives the maximum rewards - what is needed is for the two ppl involved to find the balance. 😉😆

I don't think we can blame sudha for thinking like this, isnt this normal behaviour to try to save your children from your own mistakes,at least in her case DT was educated and was far better than Prithvi in social standing (sadly, hawtness not a deciding factor)

I remember she said to Akash that if one of our loved ones wants to jump in a well , we should stop her, if they cant think right for themselves , it is our responsibility to stop them from ruining their lives, probably still atkofied at the same thought .Also Meera hasbt clearly said to her that she loves Prithvi and wants to stay with him , she hasnt ever cleared her stand on Prithvi , yesterday also when she was asking what is wrong , meera did not answer

very true, we need to know why mithvi were married in the first place , what ever idiotic reason it is , we should be made aware of that
