Too busy and too much work, but then I managed to pen down the chap 😃

Realisations and Retaliations
Chapter-5
Heavily panting, a dark-skinned man spoke,
"We brought her. Sir."
The boss, with a sturdy built and clear-cut features turned to the man who had just spoken. With husky voice, he said.
"Good. Drop her there."
He pointed to a corner of the huge room.
"Keep a close watch on her"
Saying, he left.
The dark man, who had been told to kidnap the girl, was a close aide of the boss. Following his orders, he quickly called his men.

"I have to kill"
Anger surged through him. His eyes full of fear and shock. He raised his fisted and borught down hard on the glass table. Glass shattered.
He continued.
"I have to kill...her father"
Everyone was too shocked to say anything.
Prithvi resorted to his room. Others followed suit.

Kiran came in and closed the door. Rajeev was pacing the room worried.
"Rajeev, Prithvi mentioned about her father? I didn't know she had a father. Sudha never talked anything about it "
Rajeev stopped pacing and turned to face her.
"I knew you would ask me about this," he said, sighing.
"What is the matter, dear? " she took his hand. "Tell me everything from the start."
He nodded.
"Yes, you should know everything now."
Feeling guilty he started narrating her everything, right from his college days.
He told her how he met Pramila in barahgaon, their marriage in the gaon's mandir, his father's decision, Prithvi's birth, Pramila's death, his obligations, Ramdhari taking care of Prithvi, Ramdhari marrying Sudha, Meera- Prithvi's child marriage, Sudha running away with Miu, Miu and Prithvi marrying again...
"Oh My God ! " Kiran gasped.
"I am really sorry for keeping all this things a secret from you," he said, sniffing.
"I am extremely sorry," he broke down.
"Kiran patted him, " Dear please don't cry. I understand everything now." she continued,
"Rajeev, Prithvi is my son, I have already accepted him. But meera,..."
Composing herself a bit, " Meera is married, and we were forcefully going to make her marry Akash! Does Akash knows anything about it?"
"He knows everything. He even knows that Meera loves Prithvi"
" Oh no. So many things are happening and that too so quickly," she said worried. "I have to talk to Akash"
"Yes-s"

Prithvi sat on the bed, his head hung low.
Why Me? Why does everything bad happen to me? Don't I have a right to live a normal life like everyone else?
Tears trickled down.
Meera...
Damn it! he banged his fists on the bed.
"I love her! he shouted.
If anything happens to her... No! I won't let a single scratch on her.' he thought.
He remembered his days spent in barahgaon since childhood. Datta took care of him, loved him like a son. All the happy says, those light-hearted moments they shared. Datta was his 'Bhagwan' and he would do anything for him.
But then, he was torn-apart. He had the love of his life on one hand, and Datta- his mentor, fatherlike personality- on the other. He had to choose among them. Choose one, and the other is dead. . Murder Datta, and Meera would be safe. And if datta is not killed, Miu will be gone for ever. There was no way out
He had only one choice. He had to choose - Datta OR Meera.
