The Making Of The Universe
Eddie & Crash
While God was away visiting the Klingon Empire, he left Eddie & Crash behind to watch over the newly formed black hole. God had great plans for the vast space but Eddie & Crash did not see the potential. After a day of staring into nothingness, Eddie announced, "I'm bored." "Bored! Then there is only one thing to do. Paintball!!" yelled Crash gleefully as he hurled a red ball at Eddie. "Ha,Ha! Missed!" smirked Eddie triumphantly as he did the moonwalk (oops sorry, the moon had not been developed as yet). He pulled out a blue ball and hit Crash flush on the face. Drops of blue paint spilt all over. It was only then that Eddie noticed Crash's open mouthed look who was pointing behind him with a trembling hand. The red ball had fallen into the black hole and had grown into a huge red globe. Meanwhile the blue drops had developed into a few more globes. "Aaaah, what did we do?" yelled Crash, jumping into Eddie's arms, teeth chattering. "It's not us." said Eddie. To prove it, he lobbed a few more paintballs into the black hole. All turned into globes of various colors and sizes. "Oh god, oh god, oh god!" panicked Crash. "Don't call him, he is going to kill us." said Eddie. "Maybe we can get rid of them before he comes." said Crash hopefully, trying to push the smallest red one. It was solid to the core and refused to budge. "Yeah, good luck with all nine." said Eddie sarcastically.
Just then a blond boy jumped out of a space ship. "Darth Vader come out from where you are hiding." "I'm here, Luke Skywalker.", bellowed Darth Vader. Before Eddie & Crash could even say anything, a light saber fight broke out. Eddie and Crash ran for cover behind the largest blue globe. Flashes of red and blue light were hitting all the globes and smaller satellites. Craters were created on the white satellite, round indentations were made in the small red globe and fragments blasted from the globes formed a belt around the fourth and fifth globe. "They are destroying it." yelped Crash jumping up. Eddie pulled him back, "Shut up! That's what we want." "Oh yeah! Go scary dude in the black!!", cheered Crash. Just then a flash of blue light from Luke Skywalker light saber bounced of the last blue planet, causing a huge dent in it and hitting Darth Vader in the chest. Darth Vader gasped his last, "Luke, I'm your father." Luke dragged Darth Vader back to the space ship. "Wait, who is going to clean up this mess?" asked Crash. "Sorry but we got to return to the Galatic Republic.", replied Luke Skywalker.
While Crash & Eddie stood surveying the damage, a tiny winged creature in a green dress came flying by. She was bawling her eyes out. "Who are you?" asked Crash. "Tinkerbell," she replied between hiccups. "Why are you crying?" asked Eddie curiously. "I lost my land." wailed Tinkerbell. "What land?" asked Crash. "Neverland!!" screamed Tinkerbell flailing her arms about and sending sparks shooting out her wand. "Well, it's not here and stop waving that thing around!" retorted Eddie, "Come on Crash!" But Crash was staring off in the distance. "So pretty," he said mesmerized at the numerous sparkles dotting the black background. "I want to go back to Neverland." wailed Tinkerbell, stomping her feet, more sparks emitted from her wand and more sparkles crystallized around them. "See, that cross you in the North. Follow it! Maybe it will get you back to your Everland." replied Eddie. "Neverland!" yelled Tinkerbell. "Okay! Okay! Neverland! Now shoo!" said Eddie. Tinkerbell fluttered her tiny wings and flew off into the distance following the Northern Cross.
Before Eddie & Crash could get any further, a tall man came striding along. "Who are you?" asked Crash, intimidated by the tall stranger. "I'm Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player ever." replied the stranger. "What's that under your arm?" asked Eddie. "My hoops, I'm looking for a ball worthy enough for me to play with." replied Michael Jordan. "Ha, that looks about right" he said pointing to a large yellow/orange globe. He suspended the hoops and then tried to dunk the globe through it. But it refused to be dunked, it just hovered half way through the hoop. "Oh well, I'll guess I'll look someone else.", said Michael Jordan shrugging. "Wait, wait! Take back your hoopy thing!" pleaded Crash. "Nah, keep it, my gift." replied Michael Jordan. "We don't want any more gifts." yelled Eddie but Michael Jordan just strode away.
As Michael Jordan disappeared over the horizon, Eddie & Crash heard a thundering crash. A giant with a long beard on a motorcycle stopped by them. "Whooo, Whoo... you are?" stammered Crash terrified. But the giant also looked scared. He nervously looked over his shoulder. "I'm Hagrid," he whispered, "Listen buddy, can you do me a favour?" "No! No favors!!" yelled Eddie. "Just a small one," pleaded Hagrid, pulling something out of his pocket. He then revealed what was in his hand. It was a tiny furry, little creature curled up into a little ball. "Ooh so cute," said Crash taking him. "See I told you, it's just a tiny favor. So will you keep him until I come back?" asked Hagrid eagerly. "Yeah, sure!" agreed Crash cheerfully. "Thanks mate," said Hagrid as he waved his pink umbrella and drove off. "Ain't he cute?" asked Crash. "No!" yelled Eddie. "Ouch!" yelled Crash in surprise as the tiny creature nipped at his hand. "Wow, for a tiny thing it has quite a bite." he said in shock.
"Well, put it down. We got to figure out this mess before God arrives." Eddie snapped at him. "Too late!" bellowed God. "I can explain. It was all his fault!" said Crash pointing to Eddie. "What? You started the paint ball fight." yelled Eddie outraged. Soon, they were rolling around, pummeling each other. "Enough!" roared God, "Have you not heard of God's will?" Eddie and Crash stopped their fight. "You mean you meant for all of this to happen?" asked Eddie. "Of course," replied God sanguinely. "Yeah! We're not in trouble!" shouted Crash as he and Eddie hugged each other and jumped up and down. "Only one thing missing," mused God. And with a wave of a hand, a huge blazing fireball appeared and all the globes aligned around it. "Wow!" said Eddie in awe. Just then there was a huge roar and Eddie and Crash turned around to find the small furry creature had turned into a huge scaly one with ferocious fangs. "Yes, we will have to find him a home." said God, "Crash and Eddie, do you want to find which globe is livable?" Eddie tried the first globe nearest to the fireball. "Too hot!" yelped Eddie. "Too cold!!" yelled Crash from the largest globe furthest from the fireball. "How about that one?" suggested God, pointing towards the third globe which was green and blue and the most beautiful of all. "Perfect!" said Eddie and Crash in unison. So, perfect in fact that Crash & Eddie decided to stay there for an extended vacation
until the ice melted on. God sent the scaly creature to join them after the ice melted. And so that is how, the planets, the craters on the moon, the asteroid belt, the stars, Saturn's rings, the sun and dinosaurs came into being. 😊
