>> Hi Rose... thanks for taking time to share your thoughts
The villains have been unmasked. Rao, Raghu’s best friend, and Shyam the snake. It is surely an “Et tu Brute’ moment. The ultimate betrayal between bosom buddies.
>> Truly
Jodha and her hilarious hare-brained ideas. And once she gets them, she will execute them, come hell or highwater. Her midnight drive to Jalal’s place to get a more appropriate goodbye- what a scene. The verbal exchanges between them are, as always, simply mouth-watering, making us devour each word akin to how Jalal enjoyed her cake.
>> what all the egoistic boss makes her do in name of love

At Jalal’s insistence, Jodha unburdened herself to him, recounting all that occurred on the day of her parents’ death and the events thereafter and why she gave up her suicidal thoughts, a major part owed to Samyu, a gem of a friend. The revelations appeased his unsettled mind, thinking about how she would cope in Hyderabad. Reading about all that she had been through, described so vividly, the reader could not but commiserate with Jodha.
>> A grief no one deserves in life but all of us has to go through at some point or the other
Usually, women are more intuitive and more observant than men, but Usman Sir, good for you, the unmistakable behavioural changes in your son have not gone unnoticed by you.
>> Yes yes... but Ameena beat him to it when she first noticed her son's exuberance in taking Jodha's name.
Meanwhile, Saradhi Sir has seen the twosome in action to draw his own conclusions. No objections from the patriarchs of both the families, a big plus for the pair.
>> as it is there is a bigger villain to fight... two less people to fight against is a big respite
The challenge – which hot-blooded male would not prolong the challenge when the threat of tempting, persuasive methods was promised to him?
And boy oh, boy! Jodha surely knows how to twist Jalal Saab around her little finger.
>> haha... well said! The girl surely knows how to use saam, daan, bhed, dand to get her manmani done.
Deciding persuasion by seduction was the way to melt this icy, cool hunk of a man, Jodha pulled out all the stops, making a song and dance about it, literally.
I actually had to go to You Tube to listen to the songs because Hindi is not a language I am familiar with.
>> Oh...I add some Hindi words to the chapters.. let me know if I should add glossary at the end of update
Managed to view the first, third and the Sharabi songs but not so lucky with the second.
>> Second song is Hrithik Roshan's from the movie 'Fiza'.

Thanks for the translation, otherwise, I would be at sea with the Hindi lyrics.
Heeding the order from his friends, Jalal is stealing Jodha away for a few hours. Can’t wait to find out the juicy details of this clandestine rendezvous.
Thank you for this engrossing and awesome update,Jahnu.
