PART 6

Jalal wiped his tears and went to her cabin, when he heard door opening sound. he saw jodha coming inside hurriedly

She looked at him with doubt "were you crying jalal??"

Jalal got startled and instantly replied smiling at her "no.. no.. jodha, why will i cry????"

She still looked at him narrowing her eyes "are you sure jalal??? then why are your eyes red???"

"Wo.. wo.. jodha.. haa... my hand is paining, i am controlling it.. maybe...that's why...."

She was about to ask more, when a nurse came in "doc.. patient is shifted, anesthetists are asking for you"

Jodha nodded and turned to jalal "Jalal, i have an emergency OT to attend, i told our hospital driver, he will drop you off, i might take 3-4 hours"

"Its ok jodha, you go and do your job, i will be here, waiting for you, its ok, i will call and inform, i will come to office by afternoon"

"Are you sure jalal?? is it ok??? won't it be a problem???"

Jalal smiled at her and kissed her forehead "its my office jodha. why will it be a problem???"

Jodha nodded at him, kissed his cheek, "if you want, sleep inside, bye"

and she went off.

Jalal saw her desk, Dr. Pari Mohammed was written in bold letters. a small photo frame with 2 photos,1 with jalal holding jodha, back hugging her and other with jodha with kids on her lap is kept on her desk. he caressed the photo and sat inside the attached room

He thought about their past, when he met her for the first time

FLASHBACK

Jalal went to a hotel, to meet his friend, who came from abroad, staying in that hotel. he was talking to his mother

"Jalal, today i met a girl, she is so sweet, her name is jodha. some person took her in a car, i saw lust in his eyes looking at her, i am scared for her, she is so naive"

"Ammijaan.. don't be worried, you shoukd have brought her with you then, now how can we search her??"

"I don't know jalal. i can't forget her face.."

"Ammijaan.. i can understand your concern.. but how can we searvch just like that.. we don't even have a photo.."

He was consoling his ammijaan, when he heard loud shout to help. he disconnected the call and ran to the door and broke the door

The scene when he saw a man slapping a girl and forcing himself on her, boiled his blood and pulled him away, he bet him blue and black. the staff came running listening to the commotion there. jalal and his friend are owner of the hotel. only manager knows about that. so he signaled female staff to cover her and cleared the area.

Jalal told them to keep him locked in hotel and took her to his home calling his ammijaan and doctor. he looked at her. she is like a fresh rose, her cheeks rose and swollen, blood oozing from corner of her lips, tears are still flowing out from her eyes

He sat on backseat, made her lay with head on her lap and instructed driver to drive home

He took her inside his home. he saw his mother was waiting eagerly. as soon as she saw him carrying a girl, he ran to them and whispered "JODHAA..."

He looked at his mother in surprise and took her to guest room. doctor came and checked her, while she gained consciousness and screamed

Then when he went in, she became more violent

He and adgah went out and reported to police and they took him into custody. they said that they want to take statement of the victim. adgah somehow managed to get him arrested using his influence and they went to home.

Next few days, jodha just stayed inside her home. she used to freak out when he went to her room. she would only allow his ammijaan

One day, when jalal went to market, he saw sharifuddin roaming freely with some other girl.

Jalal called adgah and they got to know that, he knew some higher official, so they let him go, as there was not even victim's statement

Jalal thought a lot and with the help of abdul, kidnapped sharif and hid him in dungeon of his farmhouse. he tied his eyes and took a log and hit him with that.

Then he went home, went to jodha's room, she was lying on bed staring at the roof. as soon as she saw him, she sat on bed and folded her knees to her chest and hid her face

He felt bad for her. he called her softly "jodhaa..."

She didn't respond, held her knees tight with her hands, burying her head more into herself

"Jodha.. i won't harm you. i just want to give justice to whathas happened to you. ammijaan is so sad to see you like that"

She didn't respond, instead started shivering when he took a step towards her

He kept his phone on bed, took back steps. "i did what i think was right to give you justice. look into that video. if you want him to punish more, come out jodha. i will make sure no one hurts you. you can believe me. you can't stay like this all your life."

She relaxed when he maintained distance, but still his her face

"Jodha.. i heard that you wanted to become a doctor. think about your dream. you have to fight to achieve your dream, will you scare and stay like this if an insect crawls on you??? he is not even worth of an insect. by staying like this, you are giving him a lot of importance"

"I know its difficult no.. no... worst situation for a girl, but youy are a fighter jodha. you fought against him till your last nerve. don't let that fighting spirit down, fight your inner fears too.. only then you can succeed in anything. you know what is letting people like him get away easily with whatever they have done... its people like you being silent after that. raise you voice and join hands with me. let us get him punished"

He went out after that, closing the door

Jodha slowly raised her head and looked at the door and took his phone. she played the video which was there. its jalal beating him and sharif crying in pain. she felt some kind of happiness seeing that. she played that again and again and cried in happiness looking at that

Jalal looked at her from the door and went from there. he called the psychiatrist whom he consulted earlier and told her everything

Then the doctor advised him to encourage her to come out of that room

He made a plan with hamida and maids. then at lunch, a maid went to her room "jodha.. mam is not feeling well. mam slipped in bathroom. so mam asked you to come downstairs for lunch. mam sent away all males from there. mam is waiting without eating for you." saying this the maid went away

Slowly jodha got up from bed, peeked out of door, covered herself completely, only her face was visible. she looked towards dining table from upstairs. only hamida was sitting there. she slowly went there with baby steps and when she felt no one there except her ammi, she went towards her

"ammi.. did you fall down??? How are you feeling now??" asked jodha to hamida

Hamida smiled at her and made her sit on the chair. she fed jodha, jodha too fed her. hamida smiled at her

"Jodha.. doctor restricted me not to climb stairs for 2 weeks. you have to come and eat here daily. ok??"

Jodha just looked at her.

Hamida held her hand and said "its high time jodha, leave everything behind. start over. whenever you are willing, go and buy books which you need, i can accompany you, but only after a week, if you are comfortable, i will send my son jalal with you. he knows martial acts. he will fight for you"

Jodha just nodded at her.

Next few days slowly she got habituated to come and eat in dining area. female maids were present. she didn't notice it much. slowly she started going into garden and wander around

One day, when she was watching TV, she saw jalal going with suitcase packed and came to tell bye to Hamida

She silently went into kitchen seeing him, there she heard two maids talking

"You know.. hamida mam is sending jalal sir out of home because jodha is not free around males. she even sent away male maids."

"Poor sir and mam.. why are they doing this for her???"

She got shocked and ran to living room only to see hamida hugging jalal with teary eyes and telling him to take care. jalal was also sad

She slowly walked towards them, though she was shivering, she was determined to not let this happen

"Ammi.. you don't need to do this. i came to know, please ammi don't do this. instead send me, i don't want to break your family"

Hamida glared at those maids "Jodha.. you both are my kids. now you need me the most. jalsl understood that. don't worry"

"No ammi, i won't let this happen."

She took a deep breath and continued "i..i.. i trust your son. i will try to be comfortable around him. i won't let you live away from your son, that too for me"

"Jodha.. really.. you don't need to do this" said jalal

She looked at him, went towards him slowly, with shivering legs "lets start with being friends" and she forwarded her hands which were shivering like crazy

He looked at her and held her hands "are you sure??? you know you can take your own time"

She nodded in yes and her arms slowly became normal in his hand

"So, you aren't going right??" she asked him innocently.

He smiled at her "thank you jodha". she too smiled at him

From then, she never talked to him or went to him herself, nor run away like earlier, and used to reply whenever jalal used to talk to her

Doctor told that its a good sign of improvement

One day,she was bored, she remembered hamida once told her there are books, she can read and directed towards the room, she was going when she saw jalal practicing kick boxing in a room. she stood there looking at him. jalal looked at her and smiled at her

"Hey.. what are you doing here???"

"I...I... I want to learn that too"

"Of course.. come" he taught her. she imagined sharifuddin and learnt aggressively

Seeing her, suddenly jalal asked "do you want to beat him???"

Jodha looked at him in surprise and asked "what...what do you mean????"

"You want to beat that person who tortured you???"

Listening this, jodha started to sweat profusely "no..no..i am afraid to face him"

Jalal caressed her hairs "its ok.. its ok if you don't want to.."

She just nodded and sat there looking him practice

Seeing jodha sitting in his presence, he smiled and started conversation "jodha.. what did you decide about your future???"

Jodha looked at him with questioning stare

"I mean.. you are not planning to stay inside home all your life right???? i heard you were so fascinated about pursuing medicine. why aren't you applying for counselling???"

After a while she spoke "i..i am afraid, to go out. if i join medicine, i have to work and mingke with boys too, i am scared"

"Jodha.. you can't stay like this forever dear. all boys aren't like that. ok, i will teach you some skills for self protection. you can protect yourself, if you feel afraid of anyone or your instinct tells you, you are in danger, call me.. i'll come to you as soon as possible. in the meanwhile you can protect yourself"

"You.. you will do that for me???"

"Of course... why not??? when ammijaan took your responsibility, you are my responsibility too and you are my friend too, remember, we started our friendship. so you can rely on this friend of yours" and he smiled at her, caressing her hairs

She just smiled at him for the first time

"How about we go and but books which you need for your 1st year??? i will accompany you, ammijaan is in office, lets go there first, surprise her and then go, buy books???"

She looked at him in confusion and uncertainity

"Don't worry, jodha.. i will hold your hand tight, will never let you go. ammijaan will be really happy. you try, if you can't lets take it slow"

She nodded and came wearing a chudidhar covering her completely, even her face.

jalal sat on driving seat, jodha sat in passenger seat and they drove off and it was a silent drive

When jodha suddenly asked "how old are you??? what do you do???"

He smiled at her "jodha.. 23 years old. i completed my MBA and help ammijaan in our company. i want to start from down level, not just take company as my heritage. my abbajaan expired just 2 years back, from then ammijaan is looking after the company. she is an iron lady, whom i admire so much"

"Yes, she is.. you love ammi a lot. only you and ammi live in that big house???"

"No jodha, my brother, mirza too. he is in abroad reading his BBA"

She just hummed

Jalal smiled at her and asked "now tell me about you???"

"Mmm.. there is nothing to tell about me.. i am an orphan,17 years old, i wanted to become a doctor, because i feel they havew power to treat the diseased and dying too. i used to pain and sell them, with that money, i attended my entrance exam and was able to crack it, but didn't have enough money to pursue my dream. then that person came and took me to his home telling he want care taker for his physically handicapped wife. and then that happened"

She became silent after that, when she suddenly asked "ohh.. yes, what happened to his wife?? she took good care of me, she might feel bad that i got her husband arrested"

"Don't worry jodha. its better for her to live without him that to live with a beast like him"

She just hummed.

Soon they reached their office. its a huge building, MOHAMMED CORPORATIONS was written in huge letters. jodha lifted her head but couldn't see the end of the building, jalal chuckled seeing her expression

He gave her his hand "lets go..."

She held him and they went towards lift, she held jalal tight whenever someone looked at her

They went to hamida's chamber and PA told that she is free this moment. they knocked the door and went in listening come in

Hamida looked at them in shock "wow.. what a pleasant surprise.. come.. jodha.. my child.. i am so happy"

Jodha smiled and ran to hug her "ammiii..."

Hamida hugged her back and caressed her hairs

They talked for a while and then hamida asked "what's today plan???"

"We're thinking to buy books needed for 1st year. i googled what all are required.. we can go when you are free"

"I am free now.. lets go"

And then they went, did a little shopping and went home

Jodha applied for counselling, she got seat in a good college in delhi. They are in mumbai then, so they shifted to delhi for jodha's sale. she joined her college, slowly she forgot about sharifuddin and came back to her chirpy mode

Jalal sent him far away, adgah told his wife everything, she went to her parents leaving him. he made sharifuddin totally powerless, so that he won't come back to jodha again

He taught her self protection skills and she is much more confident now, daily jalal used to drop her in car and pick her up. they became best of friends

She used to learn cooking too when she got free time. she has everything now, family and friend, secured life. she is in touch with moti too

Her 1st year in MBBS was completed, she got distinction, they partied going to a restaurant.

She only saw mirza when they had video call. he befriended her immediately, they both used to tease each other

In her 2nd year, one day she suddenly asked jalal "can i go to college in bike???"

Jalal was surprised at her request "why jodha?? i will drop you.."

"No jalal.. my classmates come in bike, i want to go with them and now we have to go to hospital, if there is bike, it will be easy for me.."

Jalal nodded smiling at her

"I don't know how to ride bike.. will you teach me???" she asked him cutely

Next day, he bought her bike and taught her.

By the time she finished her 2nd year, jalal saw many good qualities in her. her inner and outer beauty, her chirpy talkative mode, her selflessness, and what he liked the most in her is her innocence. she had a bank account, which was mandatory in their college for admission, he used to deposit amount in that account for her needs, but she never used them.

She got distinction in her 2nd year too, she came home happily and hugged him in happiness "i did it... yayyy.. i got 1st rank of my college"

He kissed her forehead and hugged her back "so happy for you jodha"

He presented her a laptop. till then she used to use his for project. hamida gifted her i-pad which will be easy for her top take to college.

She got merit scholarship, with that she bought watch for jalal and bangles to hamida. all are happy in their life

After 2 months, mirza returned home.

He instantly became friend with jodha as they are almost of similar age. she used to spend a lot of time with mirza. whenever she got time, they used to play video games

Jalal started to feel jealous, slowly he realized that he started loving her and is in head over heels with her. but was scared as he is much elder to her and she treats him with respect and admiration, most of the time, she calls her her god, she worships him ,obeys him, but he's not sure if she sees him as love. she takes care of him and is comfort with him and all, but he's not sure whether she loves him or not

He was in dilemma how to know about her feelings.

He was still in his thoughts when he received a mail from mirza's college. he got really angry and went home to teach his brother a lesson

FLASHBACK ENDS

His thoughts were paused when he saw jodha come in her OT dress, she was looking so beautiful and charming and sexy...

She was shocked seeing him there.. he came forward to hug her, when she stopped him "its contaminated, jalal. wait outside, i will change and come"

He went out. she changed back to her saree and both went to his office

He took her to his office, he made her sit and went to look after the work. she sat down and admired him from the glass door

She always loved his authoritative aura when he is at work. he time and again looked at her to see if she is comfortable or not

It took him almost 2pm to sort out the issue, he went to her and took her out

"We have 1 hour till our kids school timings end, will this beautiful day come for a lunch date with me??" he asked her winking

He asked his company's driver to take them to a place, giving him address

Jodha was curious "jalal.. were are we going???"

He laughed at her excitement "its a surprise" he kissed her cheek

He took her to a restaurant and told driver to go back to company in cab as they will go to kids from here

He hid her eyes with his palm and took her somewhere directing her to climb stairs, supporting her.

Jodha could feel cold breeze and sound of waves. he opened her eyes and her eyes went wide in surprise

It was terrace of a restaurant, they can see beach from there, whole place was decorated with her favorite flowers, romantic number going on in background

She was excited like a kid.. enjoying the ambience, she turned around to look at jalal when he was nowhere

She looked down to see jalal on knee with a bouquet in his hand "hey beautiful, seeing you smile my heart just skips a bit. i almost pinch myself to believe that an angel really lives on this earth. i can't just stay away from this angel anymore. i want to leave everything behind and start afresh with this beautiful walking angel. i just want a second chance. i promise i will never disappoint you. i know i broke your trust once, even though you understood my reason for doing so and forgave me, you are never able to trust me like earlier. so lets start over again, like boy friend, girl friend. take your own time, we have all the time in universe to live our life. for kids, let us be parents, but for us, we are just new people getting to know each other"

jodha looked at him in adoration that how can he understand so well, its true that she forgave him, but is not able to trust him, she feels so insecure about him for his words

"Jodha.. yaar... my knees are hurting, answer something"

Jodha took the bouquet and made him stand up and hugged him "you know me more than myself jalal. what can i tell you??? I agree to this relationship" she said blushing hard

He hugged her and both went to have lunch. they talked everything about nothing. she shared a lot of antics by kids

Then they went to pick up kids, they were so happy seeing both their parents there. Kids wanted to go to park. they sat on grass, jalal holding her, when she sat with her arms on her shoulders and saw kids playing happily

Then they went to buy grocery, kids are filling basket with a lot of snacks, jodha glared them and kept them back, while jalal put them back, when jodha didn't notice making children giggle. jodha was shocked when she saw them at billing counter and glared at jalal who made a puppy face

Then they went and ate ice cream and went home

She went home talking with kids, when she felt someone lift her in air and twirl her. she dropped grocery bag and shouted in surprise and shock. her eyes started to feel giddy and was about to kick that person, when she heard that sweet motherly voice which she was longing "jodhaaaa"

When she felt her legs on ground, she turned around to see mirza smiling cheekily at her "ammii... mirzaaa... woww... what a surprise",

When hamida felt something on her leg, she saw 2 cute chubby kids hugging her... "daadiii" they looked her with big smile, laughing cheekily

Hamida looked shocked and looked at jodha and jalal.
