Mahendar kept in the palace for the next two weeks, until the duel. So, the only villain not in the cell is FS and he is taking full advantage of this freedom. Does he really hate the Hindus that much?? He is making every effort to taunt the Shezaade so he punishes them to the fullest. I have lot of unpleasant words for FS (wicked, despicable, evil, hideous) but will let go here.

Shezaade: I have lost all respect. He is the prince, future king, not a common man. He should know how to keep his emotions in check, should control his rage, desires, temper...Just because FS taunts him does not mean he has to act on it. Doesn't he have the decency to investigate the issue before becoming a rageaholic. He knows FS is not one to be trusted as he witnessed it the day before in the court. He befriended Khalil even after he was told not to, so why is the Shezaade listening to FS atrocious accusations against AMK and Heera. What he has done to AMK is unacceptable and inhumane

He probably would not have done what he did with AMK in the prison cell had he not visited Heera. It was Heera's very presence, innocence, honesty, her pleads made him return her prized possession the lens!
I had to stop reading 3 times, when the Shezade starts whipping AMK because I was visualizing Heera witnessing this brutal/barbaric act, she would have fainted watching her love being beaten like an animal. AMK keeps thinking about Heera, at least she is not seeing this heinous crime, but she found out later. Cannot express in words how she must have felt when she heard of this brutal act inflicted on her husband. Being the healer herself, she would have felt helpless, powerless, weak...
AMK has always said he is only human, which clearly is visible in this chapter.
That is why I said in one of the previous threads - AMK, Heera, his men, her people should go far away from the capital, away from the Shezaade!
He is jealous of AMK and Heera! He does not like the fact that AMK has another person in his life more valuable than the Prince! Why cannot he understand AMK has a personal life besides work!
In the end Love will prevail! Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort come to my mind. Harry had what Voldemort didn't have Love of his parents, love of his mother especially!
Let's keep our fingers crossed, very slowly they will come out of this difficult situation.
I have said this before, will say it again and again, Lashy you are an amazing writer! Every word, every phrase you write is a masterpiece! They are so powerful, I was in tears that whole day! The reason we feel for AMK/Heera is this: unlike other novels I have read here in the IF, you have put a face to the names of the leads. Whenever I read the chapters, their face is depicted in front of me. The picture is so alive, we have become the part of their lives!
Thank you for keeping all of us entertained. This is absolutely a Romantic/Political thriller masterpiece!

Lashy, I read your response to the teaser comment. It reminded me of what I wrote once to Selvi about the Shehzade and his equation with Khalil, FS, Mahendra and then with AMK! I don't know where that post is! 🤔 You wrote along the similar line, though the barbaric lunatic crossed all boundaries in C52. I am happy he called for his own doom in being an impulsive monster and kicking himself right now but for all this, my AMK had to pay the price. 😭 😡True.. 😕 I remember that one!And that savage will not even let a Hakim see AMK and treat him!? 🤬 This is monstrous and being evil beyond any boundaries!How much of venom will he spill for AMK? He took out his unjustified rage against him and now he will not even let a Hakim treat him? 😡 It will turn septic! Metal wounds and not being treated, the flesh will tend to rot with mere bandages. 😭 I just hope the guards will have some humanity left to put in some 'lep' in the bandages. Moreover, it is dark and filthy and dingy in the dungeon, there is no sunlight that makes it through there, which will make it more difficult for the wounds to dry and heal. There is no fresh air around to do the needful. 😭Actually he wouldn't have allowed anyone else be healed... Me thinks he felt that slightest amount of guilt, so a palace Hakim WAS allowed to have a look at 'Akbar' briefly...(maybe out of curiosity too, since the Shehzaade wanted to know how Akbar would fare?)And that Hakim might have done some initial mallam patti and subsequently ruled 'no hope'I can't even expect Heera to make any paste because all her herbs are thrown away and so are her books. And even if she managed to make some, how will she send it to the dungeon and through whom? And who would be human enough to allow it to be permitted in AMK's cell let alone put it on him? I can't imagine what will Heera do when she hears about it through whispers and mumbles from the maids? She will have a complete breakdown. Other than crying and praying to Ma Bhavani her hands are ties pretty much.She did hear about it... hence the words 'The cries of a companion unable to care for her partner castoff and isolated. The sorrow of a soulmate grieving HIS precious life sinking and devastated'I hope Ustaad's men along with Mohan Banna find a way to reach her. 🤔Why? 😕I sincerely hope now is the time the Shehensha wakes up and takes notice of the deeds of his power-hungry maniac of a son!
