Yes it was a long drive (14 hrs, 1000 miles total) and exhausting, but Hari drives as well so we shared the drive but still I feel that I don't have the energy or the interest to drive long distances any more 😔
But he had fun hanging out with his friend so I am happy!

Rekha, did anyone tell you that you are an awesome mom!! 👏 Seriously! I hope Hari knows and acknowledges this! 😃

Rekha, you live in NYC with hundreds of Bengali sweet store. Just go and ask for 'Chhanar jilipi' and you can get it. 😃 If there is a Bangladeshi sweet store, even they might have it. 😃

Here in our Indian grocery store, there is a Kwality ice cream counter where you can get Badshahi Falooda drink with rose ice cream! 😃 Yes its yummy! 😛

Thank you Lana! Yes he did, he was really grateful and appreciative and thanked me quite a few times!

It cost me $700 just for this trip! (hotel room for 2 days, car rental for 2 days, airport parking, gas, food, tolls). My car needs to be serviced, so I decided to get a rental car and you know how it is now, summer, lot of demand for rental vehicles so they jack up the prices unfortunately!

Lana I googled it, nothing is coming up in NYC unfortunately. Maybe I will try and make it at home! Found the recipe online.
