In the lawns of the Parnagarh Haveli
The rising sun brightened the eastern skies adding a sparkling red hue to the path of its ascent. The silhouette of the haveli and the hills against the orange and crimson canvas made for a delightful morning scene that made Lana's heart flutter in joy and pride at nature's partiality towards her Parnagarh. Just then another vision zoomed out of the horizon that made her fluttering heart skip a flurry of beats. The hazy shadows of the master of the haveli on his handsome horse appeared out of nowhere and fast approached her with the outlines of the silhoutte gaining clarity with every gallop. Even in the nascent lights of dawn one could not miss the square of the broad shoulders, the wavy hair's rise and fall as he rode, the stiffness of the tunic that snuggled on to his perfectly sculpted frame or the dash and style with which he rode his stallion. Lana was rooted to her spot in awe and admiration at the picture that was the essence of everything that she adored in everything she read and dreamt about in every fairy tale.

Wish the canal works start soon. It would greatly benefit the farming here , especially Kalgiakka's flower farm. And she was impressed with the person Khan Sahib had chosen forthe job. He sounded very suave and cultured!Lana di is also impressed with Jaswant just like her friend kal di. 😆The previous night at Kishan's mansionAzeez composed himself after being shocked by the two guards. Ustaad had given clear instructions not to be recognized. He kept his head down in the semi darkness along the passage as one of them handcuffed him. "How right our VanRaj Sahib was when he said someone will break in. Let us take him to Kishan ji at once." Said one of the guards. The other looked more thoughtful. "He looks somehow familiar. Get the torch, I'll take a look at his face." Azeez knew that he couldn't allow that, but what could he do with both hands cuffed behind him. In one quick and unexpected reflex he hit the guard on the left with his left shoulder and banged the other with his head and sped away before they could collect themselves.Woah 👏👏👏Very good Azeez 😳Azeez make sure nobody recognized him .Azeez stealthily sneaked into the adjoining chambers but had no luck. He had warded the guards off but knew that he had just a few minutes before the rest of the mansion would be alerted. As he turned to take another route he could hear soft sobs from behind a closed door with a guard outside it. As he stood at the corner wondering how he was to open it, the door opened from within and an old grumpy lady walked out with a plate of food.Finally Azeez find out his girl.'The gall of the golden head girl to refuse me the second time. I wanted to punch her right at her face. " "We were instructed not to harm the girl budiya. She is supposed to be a bait." replied the guard on duty " Not harm yes. But next time she puts on airs, I'm going to chop off her golden hair that probably makes her so proud! "😲OmgPoor kukiOld lady sounds dangerousShe wanted to punch our kuki 😭Bad old lady .The guard went in to check if the girl was fine. The old mean lady was not to be trusted and he might be taken to task . This gave Azeez his chance as he rushed into the room and knocked the guard from behind. "Kuki, come along quick." he called out to his girl who was red with tears."Shah Sahib " she exclaimed and rushed out to him ."Quick, untie me." Kuki obeyed him and without losing an instant he rushed out with her. Kuki wanted to hug him in joy and relief. But he seemed very occupied."We must not be spotted. And must escape at the earliest" As they moved a little further they spotted the cruel old lady walking ahead still grumbling to herself.Aww KukiDont worry dear this is not the right time to hug.In future you are get plenty of time for that ...😆"Won't you knock this lady just once the way you knocked the guard. She chained me threatened me and scolded me a lot." Azeez was more focussed on getting away unseen. "No. We are fleeing the place as soon as we can." They could now hear voices approaching them. They were growing louder and it was obvious that more men were alerted. Azeez pulled Kuki out of the mansion and dashed towards the wall surrounding it where he had stationed Naaz outside.😆No time to Knock the old lady.But I don't think Khan Sahib men ever try to hurt women's 😳Finally both are escaped 😊Kuki is so protective for her hair 😆
That evening by the riversideKalgiakka was humming her favourite tune as she approached the riverside. She had been worried since she recieved no message from Lana though the gardener of Lana's mansion who had come to her farmhouse said that she had arrived late last night and had left for the haveli early in the morning. She would ask Jaswant if he had met her there.Kalgiakka was surprised to see Jaswant there already. "Am i late..." she blurted. "Not at all Kalgi...i came early today as i didn't want to keep you waiting like yesterday." Kalgiakka smiled not knowing what to say.He wanted to impress kal di 😆"Did you meet Lana at the Haveli?" she attempted to break the silence that was getting heavier by the minute under his glares. "And could we walk?""Yes i did. In the morning before we left for the site. Just the introductions though"" When are you starting work?""It takes time. First we have to discuss various issues involved and then i leave for a while to get my team ready and the Mansabdar Sahib makes the preperations.""You'll be leaving...?" Kalgiakka couldn't hide the shock and disappointment in her voice.Aww Kal diShe is so attached with Jaswant 😭"Just for a while...are you alright Kalgi?"They were slowly nearing the flower farm."Oh yes. I was just worried that i haven't heard from Lana still. " It is my birthday and i love it when my friends wish me and surprise me on my birthday. Lana always wishes me first. There is an unobstrusive pathway that connects our farms. Not many know about it and we can move across in minutes. She used to come by the path and wish me first and surprise me on my birthdays with her gifts. Come here with me, I'll show you."GodddKal di bhi na 😒She told him about secret pathway .Now He is going to used that for his benefits .They had reached the farm and Kalgiakka walked behind the flower bushes and moved aside the drooping branches of the trees and showed him the short route to Lana's mansion."Lovely connect between the lovely friends. And this time i am going to overtake your best friend in wishing you. May you have a very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead."Kalgiakka's heart swirled in inexplicable joy. Yesterday as i was walking around the havelu wall after you left, someone jumped from its end dashed away on a horse and dropped this as he sped away. Do you recognize this? You seemed to know a lot about tattoos and emblems. So i thought i'll ask you. In fact for a moment i even thought it might be you..." She showed him the ring with the eagle on it.Not againKal di stop trusting him too much.You just meet him few days ago only ."Me? Not at all."Jaswant looked at the ring with an inscrutable expression and said, " i remember seeing this symbol somewhere. Do you mind my having it? i'll just check some books of mine?"" Sure. And Good night"Jaswant turned to leave pocketing the ring and thinking about it and the passage that could get him to Lana's mansion in minutes alternatively.
