Sandstone, shale, agate, laterite, pumice, rocks of many types

Forming bands of vibrant colours, like rainbows resting on earth

Oh marvellous mountains! Did angels paint you in their mirth!

Rainbow Mountains is the result of that artist's display

Inner child brought forth on the rugged mountain range

Stacking layers of colored clay in rows that appear strange

Maybe the mountains wanted a carnival atmosphere

By giving a field day for multi hues to be a mutineer

All colours mixed and tainted over the plateaus and ridges in a spillover!

The several minerals and the sandstone pressed together in a pact bond,

Seeing the vibrancy even the angels and the Lord are stunned well beyond!

The beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder says the world to one and all,

No credit to the beholder here, the beauty here is to captivate and enthral!!
