Dropping the matchbox into kit, Jodha checked her silver strapped watch.

He should be almost home.

She tossed a satisfying glance at the candle lit lounge, dim purple ceiling lights, and flower decorated center table. Planning to take the cake out of fridge right before Jalal arrived, she dialed him, waited till the last ring and dialed him again.

Pursing lips at unanswered calls, the vivacious lady sprinted downstairs - the pleats of baby pink sari falling around her in smooth folds. She knew for sure Jalal was on the way home, for, he had called her after getting into car.

12:20! Jodha checked the timing of his last call.

He'll be here any minute.
