How were the weekend functions? Enjoyed? Oh tell me, what is the official language of Malaysia? When I went to Singapore, I saw they have 4 official languages and one of them is Tamil. Is it the same in Malaysia? And how long do you have a break for Eid? One whole week?

Let us first of all thank you immensely for escorting us on our journey to our destination on the rough path, which is filled with danger and unexpected problems cropping up every now and then ; and most importantly bringing along with you a full army of Banjaras who know nothing else but to offer their support to us, and are ready to help us, suggesting ways and means, unmindful of the ups and downs on the road..

We are greatly impressed by you acting as our personal escort and performing the additional duty of a navigator as well.. With your able guidance and timely advice we have so far been able to overcome all the hurdles on our way..

We used to admire your extraordinary brilliance in making two individuals, coming from different walks of life, with different objects in life, meet and unite .. We have come all the way alone by two different routes in the past and have started to travel together only recently, just as companions, each one of us having concern about the other.. We are yet to know about each other..as each of us still have some privacy within us..

We used to admire how you were able to monitor us even when we were following different ways and when we didn't even dream of travelling together like this...

Our paths met once, but then we lost track for quite a while, but you made it possible us to find the proper route once again!...We are thankful to you for that!

We at times used to chuckle when we overhear some of your Banjaras whisper among themselves about the course of our journey or about our ultimate destination..Why should they guess anything if we have an able guide like you always with us?

For example, the small incident happened on our way recently , has given ample scope for their imagination..It is nothing big from our point of view.. There will be a lot of possibility for a young man and a young girl travelling alone, to face such mishaps.. and lot of possibility for them to misunderstand each other in a fraction of a second...especially when the journey is a long one..We watched the girls talking to each other guessing what would probably happen to us thereafter. They looked very emotional and serious in predicting our future course of action..While one was almost in tears in her imagination about us, another one started to give remedy to the misunderstanding by suggesting ways to clear the misunderstanding...

Of course, we took everything as fun and were admiring their admiration and love for you and incidentally for us...

But, our dear Author Sahiba, while we thank you profusely for constantly being an escort to us in our arduous journey always ready with your clever guidelines, we would like to make a request - surely not an appeal- to you...

Please continue your remarkable , tactful and professional way of handling the hard situations , and see to it that we do not face any dangers on the way and and enable us to complete our journey smoothly and successfully..

After returning to the haveli I reminisced the day's events at least a hundred times ...

Everything was normal till we reached the valley.. I was feeling sorry for him for spending so much of his precious time simply to show me something.. Was he crazy? I thought..What an idiotic scene I would have presented when I tried to climb on the saddle.. Poor man..he stood patiently till I was successful in my attempt. But I saw he enjoyed the scene in his mind..May be he'll show it outwardly when I fully learn to ride on a horse..

I had so many questions in my mind.. How does he know about these terrains? Had he been here before? I saw some newly erected big sheds on the way.. What are they for?..Is something going on in my lands without my knowledge? I was afraid to ask him ..Suddenly I remembered, "Don't ask questions for which you wouldn't like the answers.." When will this journey end? When will this awkward silence be broken?

When we reached the valley, I slid down on my own, avoiding the help he offered.

I enjoyed his grin and how he managed to suppress it when I said " climbing was the tough part.. but I'm an expert in sliding down.." Even until then I didn't ask him why he brought me there..

Then he explained in detail about the plan to construct a canal across the plain..What a wonderful idea! In fact I myself used to have such idea to build a canal ...but was doubting about the feasibility.. But how well he explained about the place of origin, course of the channel and the areas that will be benefited ..O God! He is an expert.. I was moved when he even took the trouble to explain it to me by drawing the plan on the ground..He was very much interested in explaining the details and I admired his involvement in the whole affair..

I was curious to know about his personal likes and dislikes.. The conversation extended to a point when the whole scenario became hilarious..and the way he handled everything.!..I was feeling very tired..and my sight
