Have you noticed, there is something very playful about monsoon clouds - they tiptoe above you while it's still sunny, and drench you in showers! That's the kind of chapters you come up with. You raise the anticipation, present nothing that's beyond the scope of conjectures, yet when it rains, it rains hard!
Will you agree with me, if I say, that there's something extremely endearing about the greyish haze, that envelopes a monsoon day? Isn't there something very idyllic in the manner in which the dark masses spread all over the horizon, like a drop of ink suspended in a vial of water - seeping in slowly, overhanging possessively, as if it was an umbrella! Such is the Khan Sahib - dark and all possessing, blocking out the streaming sunlight, but promisingly cool and soothing. Playing peekaboo with the light, as he dons the garb of Samarth Singh. He bears thunders and lightening, as in cornering Heera into submission, yet, he brings promises to quench the village's thirst - like the monsoon clouds!
Don't you think, there's something of the monsoon showers about the intense emotional upheaval that the duo went through - as the rain clouds approach a gentle suppressed mirth of pattering droplets, turning into a steadier pattering, then a drizzle, and then the Heavens open up! However as the showers move ahead, the rain is a distant visual, a smoky haze in the faraway vista, like the young sahib, fading away in the horizon.
But then again, rains aren't a succour everywhere! Poor Heera, whose everything has been wiped clean mercilessly by the floods of enmity, fears praying for rain, fails to stop them from coming forth, as it's what her arid heart, and her arid land requires - like mistress, like Parnagarh! The monsoon clouds, too alluring to hate, and her hatred too steadfast, to uproot. Let's see what the monsoon has in store for her!
And this can just go on and on, the showers impressing their memoir on the soft earth, like His charm on Her soft heart... the pouring clouds smoking up the outlines of the vista, like His departure spreading bleakness over Her spirit!
That's all for today's rains 😉,
Love you!!
