Good morning Periamma, Bindu, Selvi and all my Baisas! Good evening, Lana...

Thanks dears for all your prayers... I keep on dialling Savi's number. But still no luck. Yes as Chellam stated... power supply is terminated 3days before to avoid further damage by electricity leakage.

But to my horror it's again started raining here from early morning. I now fear they may stop the rescue operations. Already one soldier dead while conducting rescue operation.

Kawsi just stay safe! Take care! At your end there is power supply? Are phone lines all working? Offices, schools, colleges all closed for the rain? My prayers and best wishes for you all.

I was surfing the channels and just halted in star plus and they are telecasting star parivaar awards. I saw nomination of RT for Chandra Nandini and he won! But he looks so different now. I wouldn't have recognised him if they had not announced his name. I prefer and like him as Jalal wayyy better than he looks now. Others might like him how he looks now, personal choice hai, but I felt he looked much more handsome as Jalal.

Thanks Sandy, Lana and Bindu... Though It's raining here we don't have any problem still now. Power supply and schools are operating as usual. I'm in Colombo... western province.

It's down south that's Sabaragamuwa province most affected. And Ratnapura is the most affected area there and unfortunately it's Savi's hometown as per her FB info. Schools are closed from 26th there. Hmm latest news one helicopter is crashed still no casualties reported and they also asked people to be vigilant near to one bund/dam which reside near to that province.

Kawsi they haven't evacuated the places yet in the south? Here they always evacuate to a public shelter at times of emergency. It is good you have power supply and the necessities but just stock up immediate necessary supplies just in case specially, enough food and water and petrol or gasoline in cars in case you all need to travel. Some cash from banks or ATM. This is what we do here.
