I would have loved to go 'Oh my God... I never saw that coming' - and I truly am NO good at predicting the murderers in whodunnits.
However, by an uncanny twist of fate, Meenakshi was the first person I guessed as the culprit - which leaves me more shocked at the fact that I turned out to be right rather than the shock that the 'good' wife killed him!😆The Jalal-Salima angle and Jalal-Jodha angles both brought a very light-hearted feel to the chapter - a starting point - where you know the mystery is lurking under the surface, but you have to ride the pleasant wave to get through the darker depths. And I see you have inculcated the idea of the 'hug' - the lack of which, I complained about (albeit in jest) in the previous chapter. In fact, through all of this chapter, Jodha seems to be the one doting on him, while the man is nose-deep in work. And why not! 😉What brilliant analysis Jalal - you cracked the puzzles in under a week! And not just any puzzle - but, 3 murders, shady businesses, life-threats, suspects galore and whatnot!Gosh. I hope Jodha tops up the hug with something more in the next chapter for all of his hard work - but, that's the fan-gurl in me talking. In all fairness, Jodha will be too devastated to think about hugs or kisses, wouldn't she?She despised her father - his death and the sordid uncoverings were one form of blow. The other blow would be what she is going to find out soon -(these are my theories - and I am aware I could be left feeling like a fool after Stuti's revelations in the next chapter, of course!)Jodha will be shaken when she realises that her mother had a past, a true love in college - and it was actually Sujamal Kaka. That something happened where the two could not get married. Worse, Meenakshi ended up getting married to this tyrant of a brother Bharmal instead.Jodha will be devastated when she realises that the fact that Sujamal kaka hadn't died in an accident but had actually been murdered by her father was possibly one (if not the main) reason why Meenakshi decided to end his life. Of course, the women-trafficking and Sukanya's sorry fate were equally important reasons. And it probably doesn't stop there - Bharmal was poisoned by Maan.He came across the story/the past between his mother and his kaka through the diary, didn't he? (which he burnt so no one else would ever know, and then raised a false alarm) And this could not have been easy on him. That and probably there were more revelations in the diary! So, he must have poisoned Bharmal - unaware that his mother had planned to end his life that very night too.Maan's indifference to his dad's death, lack of co-operation with the murder mystery - all points to this. Plus, the overdose of sleeping pills were actually daadi's. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if Daadi was in on it too! Her dialogue of how she's lost everything anyway and that she has nothing left to life sent my spidey senses tingling. And the 'good' lady Meenakshi - was SO devoid of feelings for her husband by this point that she ended up plotting a good-enough plot, taking care to keep up the left-hand right-hand facade (knowing she has a lawyer for a daughter and ACP for a SIL staying over and investigating this murder!) Now this craftiness of Meenakshi shocked me. Or, I have another theory as to why she was so desperate to mislead Jalal - may be to protect Maan. Knowing he'd murdered his dad, she wanted to throw them off the scent with the knife left-hand right-hand angle!Nevertheless, for Jodha it's all of these shockers to stomach and deal with. In one fell sweep - she has lost any semblance of family she ever had!Lovely story this has been Stuti. Thank you for taking us on this journey through those little intelligent twists and turns, giving us an insight into the workings of your brain! 👏

>> Really? But I can see you have a great deduction power, not less than a detective! 😉However, by an uncanny twist of fate, Meenakshi was the first person I guessed as the culprit - which leaves me more shocked at the fact that I turned out to be right rather than the shock that the 'good' wife killed him!😆>> I remember I was like 'oh she caught it so soon' when you first mentioned about this guess. 🤣The Jalal-Salima angle and Jalal-Jodha angles both brought a very light-hearted feel to the chapter - a starting point - where you know the mystery is lurking under the surface, but you have to ride the pleasant wave to get through the darker depths. And yeah, next time if I think to write a mystery story again, I will consult you first! 😃 Your theories are giving me terrific ideas!

Maan poisoned him...😲😭 why oh why...But still isn't that a very extreme step...was that much how Maan hated his Father...And Meenakshi stabbing her husband to save Maan makes sense......Letz see

Amazing write up lashy di 👏I really like your point of view about Maan and meenakshi mislead jalal only to save maan .It might happened that 🤔
Why are you busy 'oh no-ing' Stuti?😆
I was prepared for the fact that my theories might be justSo... don't worry... I'll try not to be too 🥺

Aree nehi di. I was just wondering that you people have already got to guess everything and also came up with so many interesting theories, now from where I will bring new twists?😆
You shouldn't bring new twists... not at this stage. It'll backfire. In most mystery stories, someone somewhere already guesses the culprit (there are after all, 5-6 choices to choose from). But it's up to the author to unfold the rest of the story (the why) in a convincing way. 😳
